Book Misprinted
The content in this book is great, however the copy that I bought has lines that aren't fully printed on almost every single page. It's practically impossible to read these sentences

Missing ink!
I just began reading the book and tbh, I was excited to read it. I bought the book to read during my travel, but then I found out that EVERY PAGE on the right side of the book has a "white line" or the missing ink on it. It "covered" some of the texts and I can't read them. This appeared on every right page of the book. Since they offered free ebook along with it, that's my workaround if I really want to know what the texts are on the missing line (This is very frustrating).

It felt a bit like it was being done to stretch the page count
It is very focused on walking through bits of code step by step. That's not the ideal approach for me, but I can see it has some virtues. However, many times a block of code was printed more than once. It felt a bit like it was being done to stretch the page count.

Good examples for an “advanced beginner”
Good book with examples built right into example application. Not the greatest book for someone new to Go. Maybe someone who worked through a more basic starter and needs a pragmatic way to see it in action.

Very good "second Go book"
Once you have the basics of Go via the Go "Tour" or Caleb Doxsey's "Introducing Go", this is a great book to help you get settled into the ecosphere of Go. The authors provide interesting internals in an understandable and useful way.

A 'must read' for Go developers
Having recently read and reviewed the other significant release on Go (The Go Programming Language) it's only fair that now I'm nearing the end of this book that I do the same. Put simply, this book is excellent. With many technical books I often find myself drifting off as I try to absorb the dry written word (I must be getting old!) but not so here. The authors have a knack for describing complex topics in a very clear manner. The chapters on concurrency in particular I found very well written. As a technical book it isn't so long as to make you feel like you're plodding through War and Peace but each topic is given just enough coverage to leave you with a great foundation to go and explore further. Having read both books, if I had to choose one it would have to be this one - just, but in truth they are both essential reads. An essential purchase for Go developers everywhere.

A very clear dive into Go
I have been programming in Go for two years and wanted to take a bit of a dive into some grey areas in my Go knowledge. This book was an excellent read, covering both basics and more advanced topics very clearly. Would recommend

A good introduction to the Go programming language
A good introduction to the Go programming language, but some aspects aren't always very clear for those not coming from a C background. As a Java developer I did find one or two things confusing around pointers, and null and zero values, which weren't very well explained.
