Berkley Trilene Big Game Monofilament Fishing Line

I bought this line for catfishing. The memory seems to be okay, but does curl up pretty easily. My reel does cast smooth with this line. Of you got strong enough lb, I believe it would be great leader quality. The orange color is great and easy to see your line at night while fishing. I've caught some catfish with is and so far so good. Nothing wrong with the catchability. Can't say for durability as I've only fished a few times with it so far, but I'm sure it will be durable and will hold up. I would say, it's good value for the money. I buy this all the time.

This 20lb trilene line is tuff. Went catfishing and got snag up in the rocks . Pulling to try and unsnag the line would not break . Casted well and held a knot . Very easy to see for night fishing .Did not tangle . Been choosing trilene for years . Still up to par 👍.

Great fishing line, very durable and doesn’t seem to have a lot of memory to it. Knots have been holding up well. I spooled up 5 reels with this line and still have enough left to do a few more.

If the fish cooperate it'll get empty to the boat.

This stuff is great! It's very strong, has moderate stretch, very abrasion resistant, and holds knots extremely well. I chose the solar green for high visibility and find it a much better option than clear line in lower light conditions. For the price there is very little reason to choose anything else for most fishing. The line can be a little stiff, so isn't what I would choose for a spinning reel, but I used the 20lb on several vintage Penn 209 reels and found it to be a perfect match. I fish at a local pier known for snags on underwater structure, and find that my knots and line always hold, and when I do get stuck, my breakoffs tend to happen at the hook, or at the snap swivel on my sliding weight clip. No way I can blame the line there! Highly recommended.
