Just what I needed

Flexible 100lb leader
Several years now, I've been using Berkley 100lb mono for topshots & leaders on my offshore rigs. Excellent combination of flexibility (low memory), clarity and knot strength. The 100lb and above comes as a loose 110yd coil which is designed to used as a single mono topshot. I manually wrap it onto an old bracelet style spool then peel off a shorter leader section as needed. The 80lb and below line already comes wrapped onto a bacelet spool. Interestingly, the 80lb is a bit stiffer than the 100lb even though the diameter is correctly smaller. I'm guessing there may be a slight formulation change in Berkley's mono when moving into the higher poundages. Regadless, I've caught plenty of tuna, AJs, etc - So, that works for me.

Leaders worked well for deep snapper rigs, had no break offs, as long as you tie your fishermans knot .

Trilene Big Game Monofilament Leader Coil from Berkley
I ordered this Berkley Trilene Big Game Monofilament Leader Coil to fix a problem I have had lately. I have hooked some heavier fish that run straight from the beach to the deep and I felt some heavier leader material is needed. Every one of these fish broke off some pretty heavy braid and leader, these fish broke from several different hookups and I want to resolve this issue. The guy I was with said they were jack crevalle, but I didn't see them and could only sucked air as they raced away. No drag adjustment helped, so they could have been anything. I'm guessing Moby Dick. Well, if this resolves the problem, I'll revisit this review and add a star. Good luck out there and tight lines!

Strong/great product
This light has last many fishing season, and the strength is still holding up, I have caught many 30 + pound fish using it , snagged up on logs, had to cut the light to get free, couldn’t break or snap it!
