I ordered this when my wife and I ended up with the iPhone 4/5 conundrum. She has the 4S and I have the 5, which makes a common car charger impossible. However, that got me thinking, why would I get a car charger with a permanent cord, anyway? With this little sucker I can plug in any USB-charged device while on the go. We tried it this weekend. 6+ hours in the car with two iphones plugged in the entire time and this little guy was barely warm to the touch.

This innocuous little gadget is an inexpensive alternative to an overpriced car charger. It works perfectly. The only downside of course is you must use a USB cord-- between iPods and iPhones we had plenty so we just keep a spare in the car. I bought it for my daughter who uses her phone as a GPS. She loves the pop of color and the fact that she's not draining her battery. Going to buy one for each car.

I love that it comes in pink so I can keep my boyfriend from stealing it!I've been using this car charger for a couple of months now and have had no issues with it being compatible with the Apple cord, which is a problem I have had in the past with other non-Apple products that I have tried using with Apple products.Comes with 2 USB ports so if you have more than one item that needs to be charged at the same time (i.e. two people in the car) you don't have to take turns.

I have had this charger for a few months now and it works great. I purchased the black for my husband and the pink for myself. It is important to note that the charger does not come with a connecting cable, but if you have as many apple products as we do, this is not a problem.I have used the device to charge my iPhone, iPad, and my Nook. All have charged quickly.Other reviewers have complained about the charger being too small to fit in the car charging port, this has not been an issue for either my husband or myself.I have and will continue to recommend this product to my friends.

No complaints whatsoever. It works. It looks really cute in my mini cooper. It arrived promptly. I haven't tried charging two things at the same time but I mean, if you want a really good and quick charger, you're obviously not gonna get it for ten dollars..come on!

Worked for a while and I liked the blue light that notified you when it was on. However it only lasted a few months and I tried to be pretty gently so I wouldn't break it.

Adds the flexibility I needed to make sure I have charged up devices. Use it for my phone (with Mophie case) and for my iPad Mini. Comes in handy as well when I have a friend or family member in the car that needs to charge up.

Bought two. One died with gusto and made the car smell for several minutes. Timeframe was outside the window for a return...I recommend that you try it as soon as you get it. Will try the second one next.
