They work well but the weave of the rope is looser than expected and make them tougher to attach than anticipated.

Started fraying after a just playing with it. I also bought the gator jaw soft shackle too. I would have rather bought two of those. Doesn't feel as secure.

Thought it would be longer. Looks very sturdy and very simple to use. Would easily recommend.

I wanted to like this product but the quality is lacking. The orange dye is very uneven as there are many points that are not coated. The style of knot does not look professional. Overall this shackle does not inspire confidence (7000+ pound SUV ) and I could not recommend.

It's on me. It looks like a fine product, but $49 for just one seems steep, especially with no import fees, etc. I like to support USA manufacturers, but... I bought a 2nd shackle made by someone else for half the price that is probably made overseas.

I have used them twice to tie to a tree trunk and re-load my winch (by pulling the truck at a slight incline while idling in reverse). They are really easy to use and provide lots of confidence in the harmlessness if they would become flying debris after a break.The biggest advantage is in the room that you have to loop-in both ends of the trunk-saving nylon strap that would have otherwise had to be squeezed into a metal shackle.

The shackles don’t seem as high quality as others I have used. I do really like the sheath around the shackle.

Very easy to use and won’t mar your tow hooks.
