This was a fun project for me and my boys (12 and 9) for family Christmas gifts. The back of the box has instructions about how to make them with examples of color schemes and the amount of clay to use for each. I sprayed with Modge Podge when they were done cooking and cooling after reading another review to give them some shine but it left them sticky even after drying so then coated them with clear nail polish and all set!

We opened the kit up about a week or two after receiving it, so it's not that the kit was too old, but most of the clay in the pack was almost completely dry. It would break and crumble apart. You certainly couldn't kneed it or roll it. Overall a disappointment as my daughter was unable to make anything

This was very disappointing. Despite following the instructions carefully and then rebaking the bowls two extra times the bowls never hardened and therefore tore very easily. Would def not recommend.

Looks fun for granddaughters.

This was a great way to spend indoor time with my girls ages 6 and 13- we all enjoyed it and found it simple and fun to create and very high quality!

Did what I needed it to do.. entertain my toddler and teen niece for a little bit.. but they do not get really hard so my toddler broke hers the next day when handling. They break easy. But it was a fun, easy, hands on activity.

Fun activity with the family

I don't usually write reviews, and I'm not a "crafty" person, but I bought this for visiting 9 and 11 year old granddaughters, and they loved it! Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Very pleased with result. Only thing I'd add is be sure to cut out the template bigger around than it is, and then "cook" it in a bowl slightly smaller on the bottom so that edges round up the side of the bowl and you end up with a definite bowl. Our first one we didn't do that, and ended up kinda flat with no curled-up edges. Other than that, A plus!!
