I’m more pleased than expected. I was actually just looking for a pendulum mold without the Aliexpress shipping time, and I happened on this listing which included resin, and I’m still trying to find a resin that degasses itself as every two part says it does. It also came with earring hooks, which I keep forgetting to order, a bag, a mold for all your resin tag needs, not thati currently need to make anything with those molds, some plastic stirry spoons, and 10 pots of mica powders, and a nice little collection of dried, dyed baby’s breath. I’m sure I forgot some of the other stuff included. Basically it’s a bunch of stuff that cost way more than it should if you order it separately and the only way to pay a reasonable price seems to be to order in bulk from Aliexpress or buy it as part of a set here. Oh yeah, and 3 flexible plastic measuring cups, because somebody at the company registered that combining a cup containing resin and a cup containing the hardener would require a 3rd cup for best results. This is the first time I have seen an offer where somebody putting together the set cares enough to use simple addition to make sure people who were just learning how to use resin had what they needed. Resin is always a bit of a pain to learn to play with. I would suggest alcohol inks to begin with instead of an opaque powder, just because the inks do really cool stuff in two part resin. But mica powders are nice for beginners because the powder helps get rid of all of the gas bubbles you start with at the beginning of a pour. I haven’t finished the attempted full mold pours yet, since I’m dropping stuff into them, but hopefully will have some success there. I HAVE finished using the included resin to regloss pieces that I couldn’t get sanded smoothly after over doing the ink stuff, and it worked beautifully. I’ve had no luck getting that to work with any of the other two-part, more expensive, resins that I’ve tried. This is much more viscous than the others though. So basically, great value for what is included, easy to use, and likely less frustrating for anybody new to playing with resin. There is only around 25 minutes of work time after mixing, so I would suggest mixing smaller batches than you usually do. Then again, I think most people are better prepared before mixing than I usually am.

The variety is excellent but wish you got more keychains in it and necklaces. Quality is amazing and works great. Adhesion is awesome.

I like this kit, but the first one arrived with leakage. Thankfully the two bottles were sealed in a plastic bag but I did lose a bit of product and it was difficult to clean the bottles. I was going to send this back and order another kit, but procrastinated on returning the first one and missed the window. The second kit had leaking bottles, too. I kept both kits because there is a lot of good stuff in them, stuff to get you started on the road to resining. If they can figure out why the bottles are leaking (which they might have by now since I procrastinated on doing this review), that's the only thing I had a problem with.

Easy first kit to try out resin crafts

One of the missing stars is because when I received my package, One of the pots of Mica was all over everything. I know sometimes shipping can be brutal but in this case, the top wasn't properly screwed on - & it was the gold, which is one of my main go-to colors. I am completely new to this, so for me, it would've helped a lot if there were more. solid/ more detailed directions. ~It's a kit that's made for newbies. I'm a visual learner, & if I can't get that, I need clear directions that explain things from start to finish. It wasn't very thorough, basically like an outline & things that were mentioned weren't embellished enough for someone new to understand. So I had to so a lot of guesswork and look things up online. Aside from those things, it's a cool little kit- has little (super tiny& cute!) little flowers and colorful powders (about half of them Mica & the other is glitter. I prefer the look of Mica but it's cool they put a nice mix of stuff. If I wasn't a total beginner I'd be making some cool jewelry, but I'm still learning. I was able to make a few "beginner" pendants, & "gemstones",( includes a nice mix of different molds for pendants,etc) comes w/ necklace cords with clasps to put your pendants on. I also made some stuff that ended up not drying,& being a sticky mess, I don't understand why because I followed the 1:1 ratio . Sorry I wrote a novel over here.. It is a pretty good kit, has a lot of stuff, I just REALLY wish there were more instructions. Also wish I got the full jar of gold Mica!

Good quality the colors are accurate perfect for a beginner it has enough supplies to get you started as long as you don't make a mess you won't get sticky

Excellent starter kit. Lots of equipment. Made several items and they were easy to make. Easy to follow instructions and the items turned out great. Not much resin though.
