Jobe’s Organics All Purpose Fertilizer Spikes, Easy Plant Care Fertilizer for Vegetables, Flowers, Shrubs, Trees, and Plants, 50 Count

I planted a bunch of flower seeds and they all germianted but the potting soil must have been rubbish because all my flower starters were DYING and turning yellow due to lack of nutrients in the soil. I put these around the perimeter and inside of my flower bed and within just a week the color of the flowers stalks and leaves dramatically changed from pale yellow to dark green! Great product! I had spent about $18 on flower seeds and would have been bummed out to have lost my entire crop.......now it is about a month later and I can see formation of flower heads and in about 2 weeks I will have blooms! BTW - It is basically NPK - I broke the sticks in HALF and spread it around my flower bed. Sometimes too MUCH fertilizer can burn and kill plants especially starters who are still fragile and establishing their stems leaves Even cut in half, it still did a great job Highly recommended!

I love these things! I order whichever pack is on sale for our plants and veggie garden. I love that these are mild and can feed for a long time! We have a busy life, and lots of chores - it is so nice to not have plant food be one of them! These can easily be placed around the drip line and let them just release their food. Awesome option for those of us who like to grow their own food or just love our flower gardens, but don't want to put a bunch of crap on them. Good option, super affordable and a pack goes a long way! We love this brand, and use it for almost all our plant feeding needs!

Seem to be doing the job, when they can stay in the ground. Unfortunately, the smell is pretty strong. This wouldn't bother me, as its outside, but apparently this is irresistible to one of our dogs who has probably dug up half of the ones I've used. Otherwise, no serious issues

These fertilizer sticks appear to work! I used them in barrels that have dwarf citrus trees and the trees appear to be thriving.

This is my favorite fertilizer for the house plants. I use it all the time. My plants LOVE it and go crazy each time I push some of this fertilizer spikes into the plant pots. I have a lot of small and large indoor plants. My Birds of Paradise indoor plant gives me several massive, lush and healthy leaves each time after the application of this fertilizer. It is OMRI certified, which is very important for me, as I use it in my garden as well for veggies and berries. It does smell quite strong, so you just have to make sure you push it deep enough and cover it well with soil. My small dog actually managed to dig one out an eat it when I first used it. I made her vomit it out, just to be on the save side. She is totally OK. But I now make extra sure I push them in deep and cover them well, so she doesn't get tempted. Also, if a small part of the spike still is above the soil I start getting little tiny flies. They don't bother me particularly and they don't last forever. If anything I take it as a good sign of some natural processes occurring there. But, since the little buggers could be an annoyance, again, pushing the spike in deep and make sure it is well covered with the soil solves the issue. I highly recommend it! Note, not all JOBS products are OMRI certified though. I tired their tree fertilizer once - I was very excited since this one works so well, that I didn't even think to check if that one was OMRI certified or not. I was very disappointed when I learned it wasn't.

Does the job

I guess they fertilize well enough for small plants/small gardens. I have a Big yard with 8 raised beds for Vegetables, NUMEROUS Tropical fruit trees & ornamental plants. I attempt to grow Lots of different plant varieties, fruit, vegetables & trees here in South FL and i thought I’d give these Jobes all-purpose fertilizer spikes a try! They are small and you only get 50 small spikes in a small bag. Honestly I don’t think they’re all that much of a value for the money unless you have a small garden. They didn’t really seem to go all that far. Therefore, I don’t really feel comfortable in recommending them, nor do I believe that I will be repurchasing them again. Perhaps they would be ok for small apartment gardens especially if you don’t have a very big garden or a lot of demanding plants that regularly need fertilizing …. But for my uses it was just not a great purchase. Just didn’t go very far in helping to feed very many of my hungry plants!! I have also had problems with Availability of Jobes; not allowing the sale of their regular size Fertilizer Spikes for Fruit Trees to my vicinity!! What’s THAT about???!!

Wish I could find more, went on sale and I bought about 6 bags, hard to find now, later in the season. This is great stuff. To test it I put it on part of my garden to check the difference. WoW!! It worked great, Ill be looking for this next year as well. The plants I treated with this are literally double the size of the plants I did not treat, and boy am I getting some produce, Cucumbers, Squash, Tomatoes, Peas, Corn, Pole Beans, Sunflowers, they all love this stuff!! and all are producing excellent! Thanks Jobes!! I can't believe how well my pumpkin plants are doing! They are huge! Can't wait for pumpkin harvest this year! These folks make quality products, I'd recommend them if you need an easy organic fertilizer solution!

Great product. My African violets are blooming non-stop now after using this. I even used it on my hanging plants on my deck and they are blooming wonderfully. I recommend!
