Bandai Hobby - Mobile Suit Gundam - #234 MS-06S Zaku II, Bandai Spirits HGUC 1/144 Model Kit

I built quite a few Gundam kits when I was younger and bought this to get back into the hobby. As a fan of the original series, I like how similar this is to it's appearance in the anime, without looking too cartoonist. The build process is easy to follow but enjoyable. My only complaints are the slight struggle to articulate the lower arms and the looseness of the upper arm joints. Otherwise, it's a great build.

Great looking model that contrasts well versus the Gundam. These snap together models make great gifts.

Love this kit! The color is very accurate to the original gundam series as well as it’s design. I love that the kit offers two version of the skirt piece that can be switched between the standard hard plastic or a rubber texture thats much more flexible and still looks good. The articulation is very good aside from some wrist problems that makes it a bit loose and fights against the gun attachment as seen in one of the pictures.

This zaku is a middle of the line gunpla, I was hoping for a lot more and it fell kind of short. This kit is easy to build if you've built a few gunpla before, but isn't very good for beginners. This model kit has decent articulation and a fair selection of accesories, and a good amount of hands. The hands are connected to the arms with a loose wrist cuff which falls out often. Something I would have liked to see would be an open hand for the right arm, but other then that it's a fairly decent figure and makes for a very good gift

Was my second build that I've made. Another one that I would recommend for anyone that is in the hobby but might be a newbie like myself. My only really complaint for it would be the way in which the slightly angled "hand/wrist" works for the rifle that comes with it. It tended to fall out or disconnect very easily, But likely I found a pose that I like with it so it isn't a major problem anymore. Plus if one is okay with doping so you can use thin cement in order to keep it from not doing that(which I didn't do)

It was incredibly easy to put together, I'd definitely say this is beginner friendly. It moves around nice and you can pose it however you want. The weapons are really cool, especially the axe. The only thing I'd say to watch out for is the sticker, there is one sticker for the eye and the sheet it comes on must be tiny because I completely lost it. If you do lose it then it's no big deal, you could paint on an eye yourself since it's just a circle.

I like this one a lot! The tubing in particular really adds, and the skirt is just wonderful. However, I had a lot of trouble posing him compared to other Gunpla, he doesn't handle crouching or aiming his gun very well. So posing, for me at least, had to be done fairly generic, but still a BLAST to put together and looks great! Huge recommendation!
