Do they have a lot of space in rear for guys with big butts?

Well, "big" is relative I guess. I wear the large and I'm about a 38 waist and weigh 200 pounds. I find these very comfortable. They fit tight of course but stretch and feel great.

Do they have a seam across the backside?

No seam on the rear. Very comfy.

Not long like the ones that go 2/3rds or 3/4ths of the way to the knee,… For my son, they were about 1/3rd the thigh length? Not short, but not long either :/

Does these have a wide waistband?

1.5 inch is that wide? I know they stay in place.
