This product works perfectly as advertised for those of us with “fly away hair”, but don’t want weightIf your hair has “body”, you’ll hate it!!I use on occasion and then open sunroof, ending with all 4 windows down going to the office. On arrival, dry hand through hair and good to go all dayI have full head of the straightest hair one’s born with 🙃Depending on how much moisture I take from the shower to towel, determines if I’ll use in conjunction with the same manufactures other product called “ my hair my canvas easy does it“ , Air dry balm.Everyone is a special character. I don’t shampoo and condition every day, just like using a loofa and natural shower gel. Bodies tell you condition.My spouse, her hair is the opposite. Incredibly thick, full and with her stylist, has enviable hair which requires a fuller conditioning that adds allows the softness

I received the City Slay Flexible Hold Hairspray. I have fine, easily damaged hair ( left over aggressive chemo effects from years ago ) that I need a light flexible hairspray, but one that also will hold a style.I found a light spray while heat styling did help my hair to adhere to a style, and after a light spray helped hold . I could brush /comb without losing the body, and hair was soft, and shiny . I did not get any crunchiness while styling with heat appliance, or afterwards.It`s not very sticky, even spraying on my fingers, the spray gave way to feeling smooth and not tacky or gluey.It did not hold up to humidity outside as much as I`d like . My hair was let down in volume , curl, and flattened.I take into consideration my hair type , but I spend much less on another brand that has soft, flexible hold and keeps up better .I do like the scent - almost herbally, to me an almost nostalgia type salon scent from decades back , but lighter in scent then those times.At the price tag, I do not think this product, and for my hair type, is right for me .

Smell great and flexible.

I have a cowlick in the back of my head that parts my hair. All I wanted the hairspray for was to hold it. It doesn’t. Didn’t think I was asking for too much and for $30 price for something that doesn’t do its job I wouldn’t recommend it.

Holds hair well and importantly does not have an overpowering fragrance.
