Useless!
I am new to Saxophone playing and I was looking for something to reduce the noise in the house while I am practicing. Put simply, this product it is absolutely useless - it does not mute or reduce the sound one bit! I am actually a little shocked that this piece of expensive plastic and foam made it to market - the manufacturer obviously didn't test it. I am now wondering if it is actually possible to mute the volume of a saxophone as sound leaks from all the holes as well as the bell. If it is possible, this is not the product for the job. Avoid and save your money!!
