just received it today and tried it right away, and it worked fantastic, i have neck and shoulder problems sll the time and hoping this will work for the good, feels good the first time i used for 15 minutes

I bought this for a family member with a lot of stress and was told it was a huge relief from neck and shoulder pain.

New Update Jan 2015:I recently received my new Medcursor Shiatzu massage device and as the ones I have purchased in the past it is a quality unit and in some ways better in that the electric motor is a lot quieter than the last one I got and that is appreciated and it runs very smoothly again which is really appreciated and all to the good, however, I immediately noticed it was lighter and for good reason as it was smaller which wasn't great. I liked the older longer arm size as a 6' male these arm straps make me feel like my arms are really cramped and I cannot as easily get the massage unit in positions around my shoulders and mid back as I was with the older units. I was considering even sending it back for that reasons but I didn't want to hassle with that and will make due. Anyway, if you are a bigger than the female model in their ad then you might want to look at this. Other than that the unit works very well so far and basically does the job. I don't know why Medcursor would size down this unit as that is disappointing.Update: I feel this is worth putting under the heading for Important UPDATE. While I have not changed my opinion of the unit itself as I really like the unit I want to write this about the Manufacturer Medcursor. I think companies like this should be recognized when service is a major part of their business model.I bought my unit on Dec 31, 2017 and used it regularly until early May 2019. At that time I was having problems with turning the unit on and off and it was all but unusable. I noticed from the message I got from the company when I bought the unit there was a 18 mo. warranty on the unit which was May 30, 2019 only 3 weeks out. I contacted the company with the problem and was immediately responded to my Mary G who was very helpful and courteous and thought maybe it was the power unit and not the massage unit and to try the 12 volt car adapter. I tried the car adapter that day in my car and yes it worked so I informed her of that and they had a new power adapter out to me in two days which was fantastic service. Unfortunately, that didn't really solve the problem as it still only went on or off by continually pressing the on/off switch until it didn't work at all. My mistake in the car adapter test was I only tried the unit once with the 12 volt adapter and I guess I should have given it a better test. At any rate, I contacted Mary G. again and said for sure it was the on/off switch or something else internal and did that have any other suggestions. She wrote back in a day or so saying it was the unit itself and they would replace the whole unit under the warranty. May 28, 2019 I got the new unit from Medcursor via Amazon.I just wanted to write this up as I still love the piece of equipment itself and I especially love companies who are as honest and considerate of their customers as Medcursor. So, if you are planning on getting a massager such as this I would strongly recommend this unit as you can feel rest assured you will be backed by the company if anything goes wrong with you unit at least through the warranty period. Good luck and happy massaging!My original review:For the price this unit really helps get to to those areas that are really painful. I have replacement shoulders from sports and doing upper body exercises really irritates them and I seem to get a lot of trigger point pain in the cervical and thoracic area. With this unit I am able to really get to those trigger points and next to a professional masseur this is about the best I can do for myself. I have had several of these type units over the years and this is a very good one at this price point. Would buy again. Past experience tells me they usually last about a year to 18 mos. so I bought the extension warranty. For the few bucks it was worth it to me.

I haven't owned this for a long time yet but as of now i love it for my back and neck. I don't know who came up with the design but it's perfect for my needs. I love that it comes with a portable car charger for use on the go (not while driving of course) but when parked or during much needed decompression time after a work commute.

The best money I have spent this year! The nodes are amazing, hitting deep tissue right where i needed. I haven't used the heat function, just absolutely stunned with how wonderful this is

This thing is a complete life saver for my neck and lower back. When my back starts to hurt I put it on and im telling you the pain is gone right after using it...

Love the massage and heating features. Unfortunately, the charge doesn't last very long.

Très agréable à utiliser. Apporte un incontestable bien-être. La douce chaleur est un plus. Ne fait pas beaucoup de bruit. Arrivé dans les temps prévus sous un emballage soigné très professionnel. Évidemment à voir dans le temps mais il y a bien sûr l'assurance normale. Prix correct.

I love tbis product. I am dental hygienist and sometimes I work long hours which makes my neck hurt so bad. This massager helped a lot with the pain but you should know that it is not the kind of massager that you put on around your neck, relax and think happy thoughts. It is the kind that will massage the heck out of your neck in a relatively painful way. But I cannot complain because it gets the job done. After 3 sessions (15 minutes each) of using it, my neck pain was gone. It is really easy to use but the part that goes behind the neck is so bulky.

L'ho regalato al mio fidanzato per Natale e lo ha adorato, anche mia suocera che credo glielo abbia rubato.Dona una sensazione davvero piacevole, distende i muscoli ed è molto comodo il fatto che si possa regolare a piacimento la pressione e la zona da trattare, collo schiena o gambe. L'opzione riscaldata è meravigliosa (l'ho provato anche io)

I’ve had very stiff muscles and knots around my shoulders and back all my life. Every massage I would get the masseuse would make a comment about it. And I always wondered how to fix it without going bankrupt. Also a weekly massage really wasn’t enough, my muscles are stiff from computer sitting and bad posture.Anyway I purchased it yesterday and OMG. I was very skeptical until I tried if. The pressure is unbelievable. I used it on my neck, shoulders, back and in different positions so I could really go deep in the muscles and gosh does it feel good.I absolutely love this gadget, I regret not buying it sooner. My shoulders felt instantly better and I literally couldn’t stop using it while watching Tv. I wonder if there’s such thing as not having too many massages because I’m not going to stop using this!
