Great cutters, do what they should...
I used these to retap the thread on my car's wheel nuts after a garage manage to cross-thread two of the nuts onto the studs - I also had to chase the studs as well, but that's a different tool and different review. The set comes with two slightly different taps, one more for ease of chasing (a plug / taper tap) and the other better for cutting the thread down to the bottom of the unit being tapped (bottoming tap). I found the taper / plug tap best for clearing the thread that had been damaged and the bottoming tap was a good way to cut a slightly cleaner thread after. Overall, good tools for a good price, did the job I needed them for. I would recommend them to anyone.

Bike crank threads.
I ordered this item & it did the job that I require which was to tap out the threads on a bike crank. I couldn’t get this size tap from around here.

Blunt Plug Tap
The first tap was great and cut a thread into stainless steel with no problem , however the plug tap does not cut at all, winding it into the newly tapped hole was a real issue, as it was very tight, and would not finish the thread to depth. maybe the flutes have not been ground correctly, dont know. Had to buy anpther tap from elsewhere to complete the job.

An unusually fine pitch thread, to be cut in a soft plastic production component, to accommodate a small on/off switch neck. Does the job ‘just fine’.

m12x0,75 gewindebohrer
leider wurden falsche gewindebohrer geliefert. die bezeichnung auf dem aufkleber war richtig (m12x0,75), der inhalt m12x1,25 war falsch. auch die qualität war nicht gut. kurz eingespannt im bohrfutter und beide gewindebohrer haben geeiert. ca. 1 mm. deshalb nur 2 sterne für schnelle lieferung.
