I could not be more pleased with this refrigerator. Everything went smooth from fit to finish. The fit was perfect from the Dometic DM2852 to this 12volt RECPRO. And, the install went so smooth - my Sandstorm RV had the 12volt wires already in-place and tapped into the chassis ground which was used for the 110volt connection on the old Dometic. Once connected it fired up and worked flawlessly. My Sandstorm already had a solar panel on the roof and that tied in with the existing 12 volt wiring which was already in place with the Dometic. I've been testing/watching the meter with my 12volt batteries and they are holding up about 2 days without plugging into AC power for the camper. Surprisingly, these batteries are original to my camper in 2018 (6+ years).

Had an electric/gas absorption fridge and it was just hit n miss as if it was going to work. Plus bought Trailer brand new and fridge had to be replaced lees than one year. This fridge has worked perfect from day one. Sometimes to good haven’t quite got the right temperature figured out, to cold but a good problem to have. Would recommend this 100%.

Absolutely a waste of money. I don’t normally give horrible reviews but this is one of those times. Did NOT come with power cord or any sort of guide for which gauge size wire to use. Don’t waste your hard earned money on this.

Installed this a week ago to replace the propane/110 v/12v original Norcold refrigerator. So far it is keeping everything super cold at the medium settings. I love not having to deal with the gas and smelling the fumes when traveling. It is deeper but narrower than the old frig. I used the extra space on one side to create a broom closet. I still need to make the door and do some trim work.

Recieved damaged they refunded me so I bought a new one coustomer service was excellent at recpro call them directly don’t go threw Amazon

Quality control not up to par, black painted sides had several small scratches and small dent on freezer door. Quality of stainless steel leaves a lot to be desired, seems to be very thin wish we had ordered the more expensive one, didn’t have an on/off switch had to wire one in from the power supply. Previous owner of the camper had replaced the Furrion refrigerator with a Home Depot plug in refrigerator which shows online a price of $5??.?? The quality of a refrigerator half the price far exceeded the quality of the RecPro. The shipping container was not damages so the appears to have been done at the factory.
