I needed a couple more and picked up from local store, so wished I had just reordered 2 if these! It so much easier with the pull clip end vs the plastic end you need to squeeze to move!

I just bought my second gate. I bought my first one 2 years ago, but with baby #2 being a more exploring toddler we need another gate. You can adjust the gate to be as tight as you want in the doorway, which I like. Also, the 3.5 year old cannot move it when it is tight. I also like that it is wooden and made in the US and can be adjusted to be 26" wide which is nice for storage.

Bought these when my cat was hurt and we wanted to prevent him from going the stairs. They’re were easy to put up, but was a challenge for them to stay in place as the width of the molding on our floor bumped out just enough to prevent the top and bottom sides to be flush with the wall which caused it to not be super sturdy. Worked well to block the way for our cat, but wouldn’t use it to keep a baby safe

I am pretty disappointed in this gate. First just unboxing it left me with a bad impression as they staple the accessory bag into the frame. You would have to disassemble the wood staples and the frame to remove it properly. That means you are left cutting the bag off and it still shows. Thankfully I am putting mine in the basement but if I wanted this in a different room it would look awful. The frame is unfinished wood, it is not sealed at all and it looks cheap. I would advise anyone wanting this in a living room or other visible space to buy something nicer. For my purposes I think it’s ugly but it still functions for what I needed it for. For that reason alone I am giving it 3 stars instead of 2. Its also shorter than I expected but that’s on me for not paying attention to the measurements. Just be warned it’s not as tall as a standard gate. All in all it’s cheap to buy and cheaply made and looks it. You get what you pay for I guess.

We've gone through many types of baby gates. We trust this gate at the top of our stairs to keep our baby safe, even when she pulls up and pushes on it. This evening, my two-year-old realized he could climb over it. Great. The good part is that the gate did not budge (I watched him on our security video) when he climbed over it twice. Our previous tension gates by other makers, came apart into two pieces and eventually, we were unable to put them back together. This style has a safety lock, which we were annoyed by at first, but the ease of use was soon realized. The safety lock keeps the gate positioning from moving accidentally or the gate from sliding into two impossible-to-reassemble halves. With our other gates, we had to mark with sharpie the notch that the gate had to be at, in case it lost its notch positioning. No more! The wood is nice - no splinters. The plastic is as aesthetic it can be. The holes are an ideal size to keep baby toys or her little hands from going through. Our baby has never scratched or cut herself on the smooth plastic lattice. I do not see the potential for that happening either. Light-weight. Highly recommended.

More aggravating than helpful. Button constantly pops off when trying to fasten the gate, the pieces wont stay in the tracks and is difficult to adjust its either too loose and kocks over easily or too tight to the point it put dents in the walls there is no in-between. Do not recommend

So far my girl has not jumped over it. Great Value Well made Comes assembled

The old faithful of baby gates, tried and true. Expands easily, locks securely and works for babies and small animals, too. Easy to carry so if I'm going to someone's house I can take one along to keep a toddler out of some forbidden room leaving me to chat and enjoy the visit more.
