DecoArt ML02C-28 Metallic Lustre Wax, 1-Ounce, Gold Rush

This stuff is awesome. If you are into making picture frames or wooden crafts this finish is great. Easy to rub on and then buff to a beautiful, hard, smooth finish. No waiting, dries almost immediately. Washes off your hands with warm water. The gold is rich. The black is more of a graphite, and the white is a silvery white. A little goes a long way. Highly recommended.

I am refinishing a couple of pieces of furniture projects and bought this. The color is beautiful, it’s a water based non toxic wax, that can be used on many different surfaces . I just used a little on a clothe and buffed on to the edges of my wood project , it adheres great and stays , with only one coat or to your liking however much you choose to use ,the coverage is great , so very easy application , dries quickly , I love the effectiveness of this wax and with easy clean up with soap and water ! I would recommend this to anyone wanting to touch up parts of your project with a touch of beautiful color that just pops , a little goes a long ways too , I just love the different colors they offer too !

I am a little obsessed with this product. My original purchase was at Hobby Lobby, then I bought the next one here. This wax is so fun to work with. It's dense and has great, thick, beautiful pigment. Dries FAST, so if you make a mistake, you have 5 seconds to fix it. Overall, it's a great, bright, super shiny gold that I really love.

Update: i tried this on a white surface and it was much more pink rose gold. still not exaclty the color on the jar butore.like.it than when i used it for gilding on a dark brass surface, which did come out pltni.or white. Original: So i started doing diy furniture flipping again and the tools have somewhat evolved (devolved)? I used chalk paint ( no mas) and gilding wax, this wax is actually a beautiful consistancy and color but not the one i was looking for. Unfortunately i didnt see gold the closest sticker was champagne ice, very light and turned brass knobs platnium tone. And if you need that then its great for me not so much i had already started using gold in a very dry gilding wax to the point where i kept using water on my brush to spread it. This stuff was gliding like spreadable butter and i hope to use again on a different project.

I ordered 3 different colors that were all shipped separate and received different days. I went to start my project today and now have to wait. The black and white metalic look fine. The silver however is dried out, crumbling and hard as a rock. Not usable. I have requested a replacement for the silver. The seller was quick to answer all my shipping questions while each product was in transit to me. I will update my review and rank if all goes well with the return and replacement. I can't comment on the product use as I can't start the project without the silver. Edit update: I ended up not returning the product. I checked out some artist pages that advised to add water to moisten the cake and it soften up after 2 days of adding water, stirring and setting. I would buy again knowing there is a fix

This wax finish (Lavish Green) is gorgeous. Its difficult to find a shade of green that comes close to Chartreuse but this is it and I couldn't be more satisfied. I work with mixed media, lots of modeling pastes, stencils etc. It does dry fast and goes on smooth. Arrived sooner than expected, thank you !

I was excited to get a green version of robin buff but was very disappointed when I put this on. The one picture shows me just doing the highlights, and it still looked gold. I thought maybe it needs to be on heavier, and the second picture looked just like gold as well. I will try again on a white print, but that shouldn't make a difference. I'm very disappointed with this product.

Ho usato questo prodotto per fare delle finiture dorate su della vernice nera lucida, praticamente una specie di bronzatura, è stato facile e veloce da utilizzare, ne sono molto soddisfatto.

Nutze es um 3D Drucke metallisch aussehen zu lassen. Lässt sich gut verarbeiten und sieht super aus. Ist nach dem Trocknen recht abriebfest.

Très jolie cire dorée à base d'eau qui s'applique au doigt ou à l'éponge, sèche très rapidement. Utilisable sur toutes les surfaces non vernies (bois, céramique, métal, papier, toile et même argile) la couleur cuivre est très jolie et très métallique

Beautiful colours. I’ve used them on different mediums with success. A little goes a long way. I’m going to purchase all available colours. Just wish they came in sets like this one. Great price too.
