after months of break in i love the leather. plastic needed modification, making this work
seemed all around good quality however was all around way to tight. spent considerable time trying to break it in only to find front sight was binding and worse yet there was a curve in the leather (where there was stitching) that totally blocked one corner of rmr making it unworkable. perhaps the overall tightness was from leather shrinking from shipping? (temp and moisture changes?) i know a little about leather working and understand that holsters to fit any given item is tough enough, now place combinations of lights and rmrs-yikes! it might be a while before there are many options. i really hope my next one works. Update: replacement arrived quickly. again very tight, but not as bad as first one. also second binding on rmr, but not as bad as first one, this is going to need some SERIOUS break in, seems very good otherwiseUpdate #2 wrapped gun in wax paper and let sit in holster a few days, then hundreds of draw cycles its still kinda tight, and again seam binds with rmr leaving slide back a little and out of battery. trimmed leather away to almost clear,(getting dangerously close to stitching) slide is still held back about a 64th of an inch . i will make this work. i imagine the company will work the bugs out of this eventually, as of march 2022 not yet with the two of this model i have tried. Gets 3 stars because of quality, and so far the only option i have found with the features i am looking for. Update=after 7 months of break in i'm upgrading to four stars

Good holster. But the paddle sucks.
The holster it self is great. However the paddle is uncomfortable. I replaced the paddle with a belt slide and it is much better. I ordered the Safariland belt slide for their concealment holster and drilled 1 extra hole, then used the original hardware to mount it.

Retention adjustment
Great looking holster. It fit well but pulled of the belt easy. I took a torch and heated up the 2 wings on the plastic paddle. Then bent them out more. That took care of the retention on the belt. Gun is a tight fit but will loosen up over time. RMR and TLR1 fit well. Would recomend.

Snap will scratch your slide
Holster seems to be a good quality, paddle is definitely decent. The portion of leather that rides against your body is very thick and stiff and when Going in and out of the holster the female side of the snap will scratch the slide. You have to physically bend the thumb brake portion away so that it will not ride down the side of the slide and it doesn’t bend very easily also the rigidness of that portion does not lend too easily breaking the snap with your thumb to re-holster. May cut off the strap and drill out the hole for the snap. We’ll see.

Paddle system sucks leathers good.
Good folks of the interwebs, this is decent but really office attire not street. The paddle retention requires sinching your belt like a tourniquet to be useful and not just slide out of your pants. The paddle retention sucks and the only way ill use it is of I cannibalize another holter company's belt retention clip to this leather. Ha. The snap of the button is affirmative. Not for tactical use even tho you got it cuz you wanted the TLR2. Tossed it into my gear tub.Xoxo -550

Great craftsmanship and leather.....but...
Great craftsmanship and leather! The paddle leaves a little to be desired. Screws keep loosening and paddle does not stay on belt securely. I will find a solution though because the holster is AWESOME!

NOT a safe retention holster.
In my opinion, this product is not a safe product to use, if your intention is to use this in a tactical situation. I have had this product for some time (at least two month) but within few hours of usage, I immediately knew this product had some issues, especially when I realized the paddle was made out of low-quality flimsy plastic without the ability to lock onto your belt securely. As a full disclosure, the holster does allow for an ease access of your weapon with the M3 light attached (which is what I was looking for), however, the thumb break is hard to manipulate (lock and/or open/rip) as the leather is extremely rigid (granted any new leather takes a bit of adjusting, but this appears more than that). But more importantly the main issue for me is the paddle. The holster CANNOT be secured to your belt; that is a MAJOR security concern. I believe the design of the paddle may be an issue, in addition to its low-quality material. And as a result, and as a temporary solution I have replaced the paddle portion of this product with my old Serpa paddle (minus one screw, as the holes don't quite match up). But at this point its sitting in my closet and collecting dust. I am more likely to use it later for parts.Be vigilant about this product before making a purchase. Stay safe out there.
