I have it in my room and the sleep mode and noise level is perfect, in particular since I suffer with tinnitus and sleep apnea, and asthma. It does pick up dust, particles well. The filter for me last around 3-4 months, using it practically every day and night.

Work very well, but they seem to clog up and reduce airflow within about 60 days when run constantly (isn't that the point?) So 6 month usage won't be possible unless you can access a high power airhose to flush it out thus extending it's life. Bought purifier unit and nobody else sells same size filters so I guess I'll keep buying them.

I’ve had it almost a year, also given one as a gift, I love it, a little to loud to keep in the room at night, but love it!
