Great Device for Rider Conspicuity
First of all, I highly recommend this device.I do a fair amount of long-distance motorcycle travel and I’m always looking for ways to increase conspicuity by adding additional lighting or high Viz clothing to my arsenal. Since I have plenty of front and rear lighting but nothing on the side of the bike, I gave this a shot. I purchased the LightRider and within the two months after install, used it on a 1,400-mile motorcycle trip and later on a 1,000-mile trip, so I’ve had a real opportunity to pressure test the device under a variety of riding conditions. I purchased the red/yellow light combination and the direct m/c battery power harness because I regularly ride long days that exceed the life of the standalone battery. The increase in visibility was great, especially in the early morning and night hours, as well as during a few hours of rain/fog riding on the trip. The yellow side light shines on your shoulders and illuminates your upper body. It really got driver’s attention, as it caused them to look to determine what it was. During sunny day light hours, the brightness is not as obvious, but still okay. The install was easy, and I had no problems installing the LED band adhesive and wiring the connector to the battery. As far as reliability, my only problem while out on the road was with the power link clip, whereby the connector from the battery to the clip did not maintain a secure fit, causing the light to turn off on while riding. This required me to keep checking to see if the light was on while riding. This eventually caused a blown fuse.I contacted the company for advice on a remedy. The customer was great! They were very responsive and concerned about resolving the issue. I even received a call from Philip, who sent me various component parts to use in troubleshooting the issue. The customer service and assistance exceeded my expectations and was very much appreciated We eventually determined that it was defective led band, which was replaced. Since then the unit has worked perfectly. Since then, I purchased an additional LightRider unit for use on my other helmet and so that I can permanently mount the power harness to my second motorcycle.

Great for about a dozen uses, then quit working
I bought my set of helmet lights in June 2016 and installed in summer 2016. The lights worked fine at first. Then the lights would flicker when first turned on. The lights became harder and harder to get to work. Now the battery doesn't seem to hold a charge at all. I haven't been able to get them to work at all in 2017. This is truly disappointing. The LED lights were very bright even in daylight. I really liked how the lights looked on my black helmet. But only getting a dozen uses?

Amber/Red Looks Very Sharp On My New Helmet
So I ordered LightRider in Amber/Red Direct Wire to Motorcycle back on November 25, 2015, delivery was Super Fast arriving to Denver, CO. However there was a slight defect in the lighting so I contacted Customer Support and within hours Philip with LumenFlex contacted me back and with no questions asked he placed a new set along with a bonus set in a new box and shipped them off to me. I received them quickly once again and checked both sets to make sure they worked properly and they did, so Thank You Philip for your help and the bonus gift. So it has been a Very Very Cold & Snowy Winter here in Denver and there has been very little in the way of riding days until last Saturday, January 23 2016 and every Motorcycle Rider in the city got out on the road, of course I had not yet installed the lighting on my helmet but went riding on the great day, needless to say it was great until I got Rear Ended at a Complete Stop in a Parking Lot, I stayed up and never lost it, was pushed forward 4 feet into oncoming traffic and finally when I came to a stop is when I realized what had happened when I looked down at my feet both on the ground and seeing a car bumper right at my heals. The driver was simply not paying attention. Luckily not a ton of damage to the rear of my Motorcycle. However I feel that if I had done my job and gotten the Light Rider installed I may not have gotten rear ended at that stop. That night I installed the lighting on my helmet and it looks great and I feel strongly will help me be seen on the road. Thanks Again Philip for your help!
