Q: Has anyone used this on multiple calibers? I know it says .22-.45, but can it really do all these calibers? .223/5.56, .243. .300 win mag, 30-06, .270

Yes it works on pistol and rifle bores and shotguns. I have used it on 5.7x28 mm, .38, .40 and .45 pistol bores; for rifles on .22 rimfire, and centerfires .223 / 5.56 mm, and .308. For shotguns I've used it on 410 and 12 Ga. Normally the 12 Ga. attachments have a larger thread size so you'll need a size down adapter to convert to the thread size of the rod (female threads on the rod) and of course you need the appropriate size jags and brushes for the different bore sizes.

Q: Does the Max Force cleaning rod come with a storage tube or sleeve for storage?

No it doesn’t. I have a couple of J hooks under an overhead shelf that I cradle it in and I wipe it off before every use. I must say I have really liked this rod.
