AuSable Brand Trappers Hardwood Veneer Pack Basket 16"

Looks old fashioned and it's build very well. Cleans up easy and will hold up in the toughest timber. Holds weight well with placement of the straps on back.

I am a hide tanner and a forager, I'm also 5'9 and not a little thing... This basket is absolutely perfect! Fits perfectly, is the length of my entire back from nape to butt. Is unfinished so I believe I will polyurethane it, but I absolutely love it! Excellent purchase and fast delivery 👌🏾

I didn’t pay attention to the size and ordered the smallest one by mistake, but this pack is still awesome. I will be order the 22” pack soon. Seems to be good quality, and very comfortable to wear.

I bought the Trapper Basket as a conversation piece in my apartment and it has fulfilled that purpose to a T. It's construction is beautiful, stout and very suitable for it's designed purpose.

This is a nice basket but the straps come no where near fitting my average frame.

Product is great for storage of trappet supplies.

I just got this, so haven't hardly used it. But, it's very pretty and seems quite sturdy. I got the smallest size, which actually holds quite a bit. I use baskets inside canvas packs which makes them work and ride better than without a basket. The one I bought (small) just fits into a Duluth pack Wanderer, but it does fit about perfectly. I will use it for hiking, bush-craft and canoeing. I love it and I'm very happy. IT's 16 inches tall so a 16 inch hatchet fits inside without sticking out the top; which means that a 17-20 inch hatchet/small axe fits fine, sticking out the side just a couple inches.
