Excellent for small storage / shoes / closet floor
Excellent for shoes and small item storage. Bought SIX. Doors are flimsy slats but still great.

It also helps to read the whole description of the product to avoid disappointment - yes
This unit costs half the price of the similarly styled units from the same maker, probably because the previous reviews were so low. To those reviewers, I say "Thank you!". This is just what I needed and fit my budget. I did modify mine a bit (mostly by omitting parts), because I'm using this for purposes other than shoes. It also helps to read the whole description of the product to avoid disappointment - yes, it is particle board, why else would it cost hundreds of dollars less than wood?It was easy to put together - the instructions actually have a few words here and there, unlike some. I didn't use the legs, so I'm not bothered by the fact that they are plastic. As previously mentioned by several reviewers, the hinges are plastic, so yeah, don't let your babies hang on the doors (or really any cabinet doors, but especially ones made of particle board). I had thought that one reviewer had replaced their plastic hinges, but I think that must have been a suggestion not based on experience - these aren't normal hinges and are very much "custom" to this piece of furniture. My tip for getting the doors to hang straight: make absolutely sure that the body of the cabinet is squared (90 degree angles on all of the corners) before you put the back panel on. This might be the flimsiest piece involved, but it is the step that locks the cabinet into whatever position it's in when you apply it, and since you have to nail it in and it's a very thin piece of material, the odds of getting it back off in tact to take a second shot at applying it are really low. You want to get this right because the doors will always be crooked if the cabinet is at a weird angle. so take your time.Smaller tip: don't fully tighten the screws holding the hinges during the step where you put them on - if you leave them a little loose you'll have more control over how the doors hang, and you can slide the hinges a little back and forth, then tighten them down once you know where their ideal position is.And, in case it's relevant, I am a small, arthritic woman, and I was able to put this together by myself in an afternoon. If you've ever assembled something from Ikea, you can do this.Good luck! I don't think I'd be too excited if I'd payed full price for this, but at $70 it's definitely not bad.

Price good, but our crappiest piece of furniture
Looks okay, but looks can be deceiving. The material is flimsy and assembled, the cabinet is wobbly and we’ve needed to make sure it doesn’t topple over. We’re making it work for now, so our shoes are protected from our new dog, until we find a better piece of furniture- maybe on our tree lawn?

cheaply made
The design is cute but the quality isn’t there. The slats in the door brooke when putting them in. Don’t recommend this product.

Cheap but finished product looks nice.
This has a lot of small pieces to assemble and few instructions. It only provides poorly drawn sketches of the available pieces to assemble on the front of one sheet of paper. Like all reviews indicate, this is a cheap piece of furniture. I almost boxed it up and returned it before assembly. Once assembled, it looks nice. I used it under a wall mounted tv to hold other equipment and wires and it’s just the right size.

It blends in with the furniture nicely and serves our purpose well

like this cabinet I bought it when the price was ...
like this cabinetI bought it when the price was reasonable. The material is not that great, but okay. cause it's not real wood.Although it's for shoes, but I use it for our food stuff.I gave it 4 stars, cause it has some scratches on it and the instruction was not really clear. I'm a handy man, but this cabinet took me 3-4 hours to assemble, I hope the company change the instruction from one incomplete page to a better manual.

Too high a price for low quality.
I was surprised by how flimsy the door slats are. My kids have already broken over half the slats and we’ve had it for only a few weeks. The not impressed by how low quality the whole cabinet is. It feels no better than some plywood furniture from walmart.

Bad quality product : door broke on second day itself
Product looks good and is not difficult to assemble, but quality is not good. One door has masking issues which I would definetly consider to be sent back, but after investing almost an hr assembling it, its not worth to ask for return. Also one of the inner shelf is little rubbed of. Although its a show rack and will eventually get dirty, I dont expect it to some bit rubbed of as brand new. also, the verticle bars are ultra delicate and I am pretty much sure that it wont last for even 6 mths.I would recommend to get this product on a deal ONLY and not worth anything above 150$.
