A-10 Warthog 30MM Cannon Collectors Dummy Round

Awesome piece of memorabilia and a great conversation starter. The round is big. It’s about the length of my forearm. It is easy to understand why A-10s are so devastating.

I do think it is a bit to expensive the bullet is milled it is about 5 in the case is real base a spent primer the fit between the bullet and the case is good Good quality for the price would like a real bullet or a replica bullet

Headline shares the positive, but I do have a few things to point out (especially to the seller). Edit: While I still haven't heard back from the seller, I did get a replacement pretty quickly. The replacement looks much better, and the bullet comes on and off much better. Note: The 50 caliber is a 3D print I made 7 years ago, to note the scale of the other 3 rounds from this seller. 2nd Edit: The seller was able to contact me today and we are square now. Unlike the other rounds I have bought from The Dummy Round store, the 30mm bullet was a bear to pull out, compared to the 25mm and 20mm bullets. Also, for the price I paid for this, I didn't expect to have to clean the round myself. The reason for this, was because of the cheap packing used and was barely long enough to hold the round and left a sticky residue on the bottom of the case. Rubbing alcohol takes it right off, with no ill effects. The bullet also has a quality error. The groove midway up the body (not the dual shoulder rings) is a quarter inch wide band on my bullet, while the pictures all show it as a nice, clean groove. The seller does not answer emails from their website, so I don't expect them to answer here neither, but I will see about replacing the round I just received today.

Exactly as described, excellent condition and great quality. And an excellent buy for anyone that would like a 30 mm aircraft armament projectile. The casing is real with government identification marking, and even though the projectile (bullet) is not an actual component produced with this item, it is high-quality facsimile manufacture of aluminum which is the same shape and size as original and makes it actually better for me because it reduces the overall weight of this single piece item. The people that made this item available have done a great job. My hat’s off to them.

High quality replica round and precision fit. Value is subjective but I feel this is a great price for what you get … especially for an A10 warthog enthusiast. If your reading this review and still on the fence just get it and you won’t be disappointed.

bullet of course isnt real. but the casing is. mine had the factory stamping on it. so im guessing it was acctualy fired .

Very nice round. Love the massive size. If anything, would just have liked for it to be heavier, to be closer in weight to the real round. But I love that it's an actual case, with working marks etc as it went through the beast. Would cost more, but a version with some lead inside to simulate the powder weight, and maybe a head made from something heavier, SS or Carbide would be nice too. But then probably too expensive. All in all very happy with it. Took very long to get through shipping, but I think that was unrelated the item. Had no issues at customs or anything like that.
