Great Value Shaver--Buy It!
I chose this Braun Series 3 because I had been using an older Series 3 and have always been happy with it. Razor shaves great--nice and close, no irritation. Got my face smooth in no time even after going a day without shaving. I also like that it has the attached pop-up trimmer like my old Series 3, because others in that series do not. I am not sure about battery life, because I just received it. However, based on other reviews, I don't think it will be an issue. I would highly recommend this shaver. No need to break the bank account on more expensive shavers.

Husband is very happy with this gift
My husband‘s been saying now for a few months that he wanted an electric razor for those days when he didn’t feel like using a regular razor. I did some research, and I looked at reviews and found that the gentleman that had reviewed this particular product had given it very good ratings, thus that is why I picked this one. And I’m not going to lie, the price was not too bad either. It’s good quality it’s not real heavy in the hand, it seems to have plenty of power charges quickly but the most important thing is he is impressed with the shaving closeness, which for a man that has shaved with a regular razor for years is a good recommendation. He’s glad that he has it and I’m glad that he’s happy with it. And in all honesty, I see him using this on a daily basis just because of the easy convenience of an electric razor.

Does well for the money…
Have had it for a few months now. Worth the money. Quality product, shaves close enough - could be better though and hence 4 stars, decently quite operation and not noisy, charges well and lasts for a few shaves. Easy to clean.. will last for a few years imo.

A smooth painless shave
I’ve tried more than six electric razors over the years, and most of them ended up tearing my face up and causing irritation. Then I bought the Braun Series 3, and it completely changed my shaving experience. This razor gives me a close, comfortable shave every time without any pain or irritation. I use it almost daily, both in and out of the shower, and it performs flawlessly either way. Unlike other shavers I’ve owned, the Braun Series 3 glides smoothly over my skin instead of pulling, cutting, or “eating” my face. The comfort, reliability, and quality of this shaver are outstanding. I honestly have never found another electric razor that works as well for me as my Braun Series 3. If you want a dependable shaver that delivers a close shave without irritation, trust me — this is the best one I’ve ever used.

Perfect for a first time shaver
This is my kids first razor. It was charged when we got it so I had him try the razor on his chin (he’s just getting hair in) and I had him try the trimmer (he’s actually had a mustache). He loved it. The flexible heads make the razor easier to use around the curves of his face and the trimmer worked well to remove hairs as well. He actually used it to shave his mustache off. The best part to me is that there is no way he can cut himself with it. As a single mom I was worried about that because I wasn’t sure how to explain using a normal razor on his face. It is a bit heavy. The noise is minimal. Taking the heads off to clean was simple. We didn’t rinse it under water because the little brush that came with it works great. It did come with a plastic attachment that is used to protect the blades when you are not using it. But, I bought a case for it anyways to help him keep everything together.

Gentle, but Not Close
It genuinely pains me to give this product 3 stars. This is a good product it just doesn’t meet my personal standard for a truly close shave. The Good: It’s very comfortable in the hand, easy to operate, and it absolutely delivers on the “gentle” promise. I’ve used it at every awkward angle imaginable and applied varying levels of pressure, and I experienced zero nicks or cuts. So why only 3 stars? Simply put, the shave isn’t close enough. The result is somewhere between stubble and clean-shaven similar to how your face feels about a day after a traditional double-edge shave. You can still feel the fine hairs. No matter how much time I spent, or how I adjusted pressure and angle, it never got any closer. If my daily routine didn’t require a baby-smooth, clean-shaven face, I would absolutely keep this product. It feels great in the hand, and if it truly lasts 7 years, even including head replacements, the cost works out to about $25 per year, which is far better than cartridge systems like Gillette. I really wanted this to be my solution, which is why it hurts to return it. For reference, I currently use a Merkur 34C with Astra Superior Platinum blades and Cremo shaving cream. That setup gives me an exceptionally close, baby-smooth shave—but it takes time: warming the face, lathering, shaving slowly to avoid cuts. So if you don’t need a perfectly clean shave and are okay with something slightly smoother than stubble, you’ll likely be very satisfied with this product.

No Pink Tax
I bought this for myself (43F) to use on my legs when I travel because equivalents in the women's shopping areas for the same thing were more expensive (pink tax). Works great! I have regular hair (not fine or coarse) but it does grow in at different angles on different parts of my leg, ala sideways on the outside of my calf but in a downward angle on my shins and straight out on my knees, because thanks genetics? Anyway, as long as you hold the razor at 90degrees as instructed and go back and forth, it works perfectly and leaves my legs smooth. Need to use every day as I don't put a lot of pressure on it like I do when I wet shave with a razor and shave cream, but only takes 5 minutes to shave both legs instead of wasting hot shower water for 20 minutes the other way. Used dry, have not used wet. Took approx 3 hours to charge when first opened. Have used twice and still have both bars on the battery. I also have some boo-boos on my legs from mosquito bites this summer (again, thanks genetics? ok and maybe going to the fireworks and forgetting to put on my deet, so it could be a little my fault...) and this went over them without pain or pulling up scabs.

Five-star review for those new to electric shaving
This is a five-star review. I’m posting it under one star to inform buyers, like me, who read one-star reviews first and are switching from blade shaving. When I first started electric shaving ten years ago, a long-forgotten review taught me the difference and how to get the most out of my Braun. I want to pass on that lore. With blade shaving, you lather up and pass the blade once over your face. The blade catches every hair, but sometimes a little skin. That’s why I switched: I cut myself often enough that shaving became a sometimes-painful nuisance. Blade shaving also isn’t cheap, and it puts a lot of sharp and still-useful steel into the trash. Electric shaving is different. You have to pass an electric shaver over every part of your face not once, not twice, but several times. Why? To get cut, each little hair has to find its way into one of the many little holes in the cutting screen. That’s a random process, and it takes several passes. I suppose it takes me about five minutes per shave, and I have a small face. But when I’m done, there are never any nicks, cuts or scrapes. My face feels fine, fresh and smooth, without using any liquids. (I do a dry shave.) To verify how much I’ve shaved and keep the screen clean, I take the screen fixture off after every shave, strike it hard, inside down, on a bit of paper towel on the bathroom counter. Then I use the little Braun brush (supplied) to clean out the revealed shaver top and its cutting mechanisms, all over the same piece of paper towel. Before I crumple it up, I notice how much hair is in it. I’ve only used my new Braun Series 3 twice now, once last evening just before a dinner, and once this morning. As far as I can tell from the amount of hair cut, the new Series 3 works as well or better than my ten-year-old one. To boot, the hair cut is black, not white, though I’m 77. (I’m still trying to figure that out. Maybe the new shaver cuts deeper?) My new shaver is practically unique in standing the test of inflation, over ten years. IIRC, my ten-year-old Series 3 cost in the $65 range. This one cost $55, including tax. My old shaver, but not the new one, had a vertical stand, a neat, zippered cloth carrying case, and a way of pulling back one side of the cutter’s edge for shaving your upper lip. The stand broke a long time ago; I still have the case; and the pull-back feature I stopped using years ago. Over those ten years, a good, close shave cost $65 for the shaver and less than $150 for six replacement screens, ranging from $23 to $25 each. That’s less than $22 per year—IIRC, much lower than blade shaving. As for the stand, after mine broke I made my own (pictured), from three pieces of wood, some velcro tape, and a keyholder circle. It keeps the shaver clean, dry and handy while charging.

De las mejores afeitadoras.
Es una excelente afeitadora. No he tenido problemas en nada.

Bought this as my sons first razor and its great
After doing a good bit of research I bought this for my son as his first razor. I have never really used electric razors before but my son took to this quite easily and I have to admit I have pinched it a coupe of times :) It works really well and doesn't seem to cause any skin burn. The side clippers are great for trimming down side burns while the main shaver is great and easy to clean. Charges easily and battery lasts for a good while, all over a successful purchase and a really good unit.

Budget shaver with performance & satisfaction of close shave!
Little technique & wet shaving results this much result within 5-6 minutes. Now if your wrist can act like pivoting head to follow the contours of your face then this is the perfect shaver. Also sensitive skin with dry shave can lead to read marks but why use dry if we can finish within 5 minutes with foam or gel. Just wash it with a hot water while shaver is on & it will clean itself perfectly. Super easy!!! As no one can guess that whether you used saftey razor or this shaver. It's completely value for money. I become a fan of Braun with its cheapest line of shaver series. No doubt this is the no 1 brand in the world for electric foil shavers.
