Works Great
We have about 5 of these and use them containers for our charcoal, but also use these to store our dry dog food and our chicken food. They keep all of the above dry and stored nicely. They are made of very thick plastic and the lid fits vet snug and the access door on top is easy to operate and snaps shut tight. Works great for charcoal or you pet food!

Great for wood pellets too!
Well designed container for storing wood pellets. Can easily hold 1.5 20lb bags of wood pellets.

Perfect
This is the perfect contaner to store charcoal right by my grill and keep it dry and ready to use. I just need to figure out a way to get it out of the container a little easier. I have a plastic scoop but it does not work real well so I am going to try a metal one. The contaner itself is great!

Totally worth it
Don’t have any more wet coal bags from leaving them outside

Excellent storage option
I have been looking for a solution for charcoal briquettes for a couple years. Leaving briquettes outside, even in the cabinet under my gas grill, is a risk. And leaving them in the garage is equally risky with snow and slush melting and rain water running off of the cars. Now, more recently, I have added pellets for a smoker into the mix. These storage containers are tough (well built), easy to handle, and stackable... which is an awesome space saver. I haven’t tested them for water tightness, but I suspect that they should hold up well for light rain or morning dew. My only quibble is that I feel like the lid may pop off while pouring sometimes. Overall, I am very pleased with them.
