Cutter Backwoods with 40% deet is the only thing that keeps me from being eaten up by all kinds of critters. I live in the desert, and we didn't have so many man-eaters but with growth and more green, we might as well live closer to the mid-west. Deet is the only fixer for this I've found. It could be a pheromones thing where the bugs like some people over others. In any case this is what works to keep them at bay!

My entire life I have attracted mosquitoes like I must be a delicacy for them. I swear if there is one within a 1/2 mile it will find me. Must be genetic because my father is the same way. This spray has been extremely effective in keeping me bite free. It also seems to last longer than some other brands I have used as I haven't needed to reapply. It was also effective during a couple of hikes in areas with a lot of ticks. Just make sure you spray around your pants legs and all the way around your waste. Overall great purchase and cheaper than some alternatives I have used.

Sweaty on a summer day? This product is meant for you. I do a lot of outdoor work in the summer. It is nice to have a repellent that will keep the the bugs away while I'm busy outside. The spray is powerful enough to get over your shoulder to reach your back. I even spray it in my hand, then rub it exactly in spots I need it. If you're wanting protection but no skin contact, spray it lightly onto your clothing. Even placing it on your shoes prevents biting ants from crawling on you. I find bees and ticks avoid it too.

Doesn't smell the best...cover areas of your mouth and face while spraying...icky taste

This stuff works for me against the local mosquitoes. Doesn't have too much odder and seems to last even with moderate perspiration.

This Cutter product is a 10/10 for me. This is a repurchase for me and mom because it works excellent. It really keeps mosquitos away for up to 10hrs just as advertised. And the sizing is superb because one can of this, serves for a good while.

I walk every morning...and Proven has protected me well for months. Had difficulty being outside with our pets later in the day. I was getting eaten alive by mosquitoes. UGH!! This bug spray saved me - I do put it on a bit heavy, especially on my hair and ears. Went to ankle length pants instead of shorts...saved my legs and ankles from bites. Using longer sleeve shirts too...but honestly I do not hear or see ONE BUG near me since using Cutter!! So glad I found it!! Can relax outside around our home again.

In 18 years of living on this high desert ranch, have very seldom seen a mosquito. This year and an unusual amount of moisture and they are everywhere, all the time. Spray this on and they stay away, period. Can do my work and not worry about spending a lot of time slapping at them. What a blessing.
