Great monitor with a couple cool extras
So far so good. I have 2 100ah Renogy Li batteries and have been using my rover to monitor the batteries. This monitor auto-detects bank size, gives you basic stats like voltage, total amp hours and state of charge, but also provides amps drawn/supplied as well as remaining amp hours while there is a draw. Super cool feature is that the monitor can put the bank into low voltage shelf mode for storage.

All the info you need about your Renogy battery
I have 2 Renogy Smart Lithium Iron Phosphate Batteries in parallel, running off of a different brand controller/charger, I didn't want to install an accessory shunt to get the current state of my batteries, this inexpensive accessory is plug and play with cat 5 cables (one included, 1 needed) works great and super easy to install.

Appears very accurate and super easy to install
The screen is difficult to read, and lacks any customization, such as 'stay on state of charge screen'.It auto changes the pages every few seconds, and the only option is to press up/down to find the page you want, which 99% of the time is the SOC page.A bonus however is the ability to press and hold the button to shutdown all connected batteries. Of course this is also a problem if someone accidentally holds it for 2-3 seconds, as there is no confirmation. Instant off.... (when it works)I will be adding another BMS, but will keep this as I believe this is 100% accurate, and from the batteries directly.

Essential information readily available
Night time illumination poor. I have to look "up" at the screen to see the LCD display when internally illuminated. Perfectly easy to read with external illumination.

It Just Works
we use this monitor to monitor our Renogy 100AG Smart Lithium Battery. The included cord is very long - giving you lots of options for placing the monitor.

Great if/when it works (3/3 failed when disconnected)
"Renogy Monitoring Screen for Smart Lithium Battery Series" reportBecause we have a well and septic system, 18 months ago, we purchased Renogy batteries and inverters so we have water during occasional power outages (one outage lasted almost a week several years ago). Because outages are rare and our utility room is small, we store our Renogy system in another area of the basement and assemble as needed. We have duplicates of everything to avoid single points of failure, including two Renogy Monitoring Screens. Within 6 months of purchase, one of the Renogy Monitoring Screens died: no display, and pushing the control button did not turn the battery on or off. After going back and forth with Renogy "Customer Service", we eventually navigated Renogy's obstacle course and they replaced it free.We just had another power failure. I assembled the Renogy batteries and inverters which successfully powered our water pump. However, neither of the Renogy Monitoring Screens worked. No display; no control. Both were working two months ago when I tested them and stored them not connected to the batteries.I just now placed an Amazon order for a quick replacement because Renogy will not make it easy to get satisaction. If you suspect operator error, electronics, electrical systems, control systems, and computer automation has been a large part of my career. I hope the Renogy battery monitor I just now ordered from Amazon will actually function if Renogy has corrected its design and manufacturing problems.
