Put it in, didn't come back out.
Went in my computer, didn't come out even after about a year now and a few repairs. Fit's perfect, and it had a nice quality.

Computer stopped turning on
Not only did my computer refuse to turn on while it was connected, but the quality is so laughably bad that it was a struggle to take it off of the hard drive without destroying it

Does the job well for a Nitro, but check your model first!
It works properly, but only with certain models of ACER Nitro! Check your computer model before you buy it, some may even com with this in their boxes, so no need to buy it. Easy to install as long as you know what you are doing!

works on Acer Nitro 5 AN515-58
It works on my Acer 5. I only had to buy it because I tossed the box that had the OEM cable (with screws) in it. #ID10T On the install I just had to make sure the cable was fully inserted (the little tabs on the side of the cable should go all the way to the end of the pins), then it worked. I didn't flatten the cable out, just slightly bent it to where it would sit flatter when I put the bottom of the case back on. NOTE: Buying the round cable might be better, IMHO.
