TLDR: Get this for your Xterra. Over the years I've used K&N filters in my cars because they breathe better, so get better mpg and horsepower, and can be washed and re-used. But K&N filters require a light amount of oil because they are made of sponge not filter paper like OEM. Research the Xterra forums, reports that the K&N can cause problems leading to rough idle due to the oil contaminating the throttle body. So I've switched back to OEM paper filter for my Xterra and hopefully avoided a potential problem. Great price from this dealer - Recommended!

After finding out two well-known aftermarket filters would not fit (not even close - foam gasket too thick - totally impossible to close the air box), I tried this. It fits a Second-Generation (2005-2015) Xterra perfectly (also probably the same model year Frontier). It appears to be a genuine Nissan part. Part says "Made in USA". Seller shipped very quickly. Save time, and just get this up front.

These work great in the current generation of the Nissan Frontier. It's a filter that fits, unlike all of the crappy after-market ones that can't seem to get it right.

Compared it to the filter that was installed at the dealer last 3000 miles and truly a genuine Nissan product.

Fits right in to my Nissan 2104 Xterra. Appears to be an OEM part and comes from a dealer quickly.

Order this particular one because it matched the one already in my 2011 Xterra. Easy to replace, a little snug.

OEM quality. Fits like it should, some other brands have a thicker gasket( the orange part) than OEM. This can can cause some fit problems.
