These Little Red Wigglers Are Healthy and Multiplying!
This was my winter project. I do not have a yard, but I do raise spring/summervegetables in a deck garden. I wanted to experiment with composting. These worms are fabulous. I started my 5 gallon vermacomposting project in November. The worms are multiplying and and seem very healthy! They are rather small, but they are efficient little composters! They arrived in a little bag which I dumped into the bedding I'd prepared. Very easy to maintain! It's now February and I'm about to divide my herd and harvest compost as I already have three friends who would like some for their gardens! I might also add that Uncle Jim's Worm Farm has a wealth of information as well as great products. I'm absolutely happy with this company.

Skinny but lively
These worms are great. I added water to the bag right away, as the instructions said. After about half an hour, I emptied the bag into a tub of moist peat moss and some compost scraps. They were skinny, but they were lively! I left them in the tub for a couple of days to rehydrate, and then I added them to the large compost bin in my backyard. Hopefully they are enjoying it and breaking down the material.

Healthy
They arrived promptly. The flyer enclosed in the package warned that they may be skinny upon arrival but would plump up quickly. They did! They are fat healthy-looking worms.

Where’s the worms?
Not happy at all. Ordered a bag of worms. The first bag I got,, I couldn’t find any worms in the bag shifted through the material and never found a worm. Called the company and they sent me another bag at no cost. In this bag, I did find a few worms but not very many not what I was expecting. I called the company again and they said that not only are they grown worms in the bag there are baby worms that you can’t say yet still not happy but decided to let it go. I won’t buy any more worms from these folks. Maybe it’s just me.

Company make it right if something is wrong with order. Also worm look very active!
First time ordering red wiggly worms for our compost bin and unfortunately first delivery was not the amount I was expecting but with a message to the company they surprisingly sent me a new batch. I was very pleased to see active worms and plenty. Thank you

Slightly concerned
All of my worms were alive and are thriving. However, I found a fly pupae and also this weird white thing that kind of looks like a maggot with little legs??

no worries if the worms cooked
Why don’t gardeners understand that worms are more important to gardens than soil and rain? I’m a repeat customer. I’ve purchased several bags of red wigglers, worm sand and worm castings. Unfortunately, this order, I think my worms got stranded in a hot location. They were all dehydrated and dead. However, the company also recognizes dead worms are the price of selling worms. They have directions about what to do if your worms arrive dead. Ignore the Reddit complaints. A few days after notifying Jim’s worms, a replacement bag of live worms arrived. This year I have a new raised bed. I sunk three 1 1/2 gallon Ollas and 2 worm composters containers directly into the new garden soil, put together 5 new tomato cages and 2 new cucumber trellis’. My 3 yo granddaughter helped me plant marigolds around the perimeter of the bed, followed by short carrot paper strips. And finally, she was surprised to see how much larger the cucumber seeds were compared to carrot seeds. I’m ready for May when southern PA put their veggies and flowers in the ground. I recently learned to sew and the Jim’s worm farm bag will make a lovely front bag pocket. Now every morning, I say to my 6lb Maltese, “let’s go feed the worms!”
