I truly believe this product has helped reduce my cold-sore breakouts! I have only experienced one cold sore in two years since consistently using the superlysin lip sunscreen every day. It does a fantastic job of keeping my lips hydrated in the dry climate I live in, and the SPF is really effective. This is an item I will order again and again and again.

I have tried many other brands of lip balm but they each caused irritation and breakouts. I am glad that I discovered this brand several years ago. Back then, I also took the pills of the same name everyday to help with outbreaks. I don't take the pills nearly as frequently anymore but using this balm seems to be sufficient for me. I also have decreased my L-citrulline and Arginine (pre workout) usage, which I discovered to be extremely triggering. This balm is very moisturizing in a slightly petroleum jelly type of way, so there is a shine there after applying. I love this thickness about it because I don't need to use so much nor re-apply it frequently. I also use it in my nose because I have sinus issues which constantly has me wiping my nose with tissue. Using this has drastically reduced the level of inflammation that I used to have in my nose and eliminated outbreaks in there. I keep this stuff stocked and I have others now only using it, once they've tried some.

This product is great for those who are sensitive to the sun and get swollen lips. This product helps to prevent swelling in my lips when I go to the beach or have a day at a pool. Highly recommend!

I paired this with an oral lysine supplement as well for frequent coldsore breakouts and am beyond pleased with how well they worked. I waited until I actually started to get an outbreak before posting so I could see if this really helped. But, first of all I didn't have a breakout for awhile while using this and taking the lysine pills which impressed me initially because I get coldsores very frequently. If you look at me wrong, bam! Coldsore! So I went longer than normal without anything. Then, a vacation of course did cause a breakout. I took this as soon as I noticed it. I was taking one pill each day then two a day when I felt a cluster of sores starting to sprout. This chapstick I used probably 5-6 times a day during my breakout... Just as often as I could. This stopped them from getting big which I don't think has ever happened. And it cleared up in just 3 days. This was amazing!!!! It worked far better than anything I've used including prescription medications. I think pairing the two is something I'll continue to do because it worked so well. The chapstick is also incredibly soothing though. Definitely helped with irritation/discomfort from the sores. I was so happy at how well these seemed to really kick my coldsore problem to the curb. So glad I gave this a chance. I was nervous it wouldn't work. I get one coldsore, or a cluster of many coldsores at least once a month, or more. And they usually take a few weeks to go away... Just in time for my next outbreak. This stuff was amazing. My coldsores didn't even really become coldsores while using this and the oral supplement. It really made my breakout so minimal and then cleared up completely so quickly. The healing process was MUCH better than what's been my norm for so long, too. I am back to using the chapstick just once a day before bedtime and I'm relieved to know that any future coldsores will be successfully eliminated easier than I've ever experienced. These are the longest reviews I've ever written (for the lysine products) because I don't think I've ever been more excited about a product. Great stuff!

This is my go to for cold sores. As soon as you feel the tingle slapped this baby on and it will help heal the cold sore quicker. Keeps your lips moist and helps the healing process a lot faster. Better than using the other cold sore medicines that actually burn your skin.

Lip balm is creamy & thick. It adheres very nicely to my cold sore. Very soothing. My lip doesn't hurt.

すごく良かったです！注文から到着までがかなり遅く、忘れた頃にやってきた感じでしたがヘルペスがなかなかすっきり治らなかったのですが(唇の周りがピリピリして細かいブツブツが出たり引っ込んだりの繰返しの状態)これのせいかはわかりませんが(他にヘルペスの市販の薬も塗っていたのですがそれだけの時はすっきりしなかったので)すごくすっきり早く治りました。始めに塗るときにクリームがベタベタと固まってついてきたのですが使っているとそれもなくなりました。本当によく効きます。治った今も使っています。臭いがメンソレータムのようなリップです。

This is by far the best chapstick I've ever used. I've been using this product for over 10 years now, and won't be changing. It actually heals the instead of making them more dry and is part of my anti cold sore routine. I recommend it to everyone. I'd recommend finding it in a local health food store though as this is extremely overpriced. I usually pay between$12 and $15 But its worth it if you dont have other options

Update: this balm along with the lysine supplements from this same brand seem to really be helping my chronic mouth crack when so many other things did not. -------- Love this lip balm as it's thick and almost creamy and feels very moisturizing (I do apply a *lot*) and really sticks to your skin well forming a barrier, even overnight, protecting the skin and keeping it hydrated. I'm hoping the lysine in it will help prevent my reoccurring skin issue, we'll see. The SPF is a nice bonus too. It is quite pricey for a lip balm but I'd say it will be worth it if it helps.
