Triple Head MAPP Torch

Love this torch head, I use it for melting and casting silver gold and bronze and it’s enabled me to melt more metal much quicker!

The heat output is excellent, and it's great for quick, simple use when you're in a hurry.

Worked well for replacing a compressor.

This has been one of the hottest torch tips i have ever seen. It can soften metal to the bendable point, it can heat and brass car radiators with ease and if it's cold in your garage in the winter, it will heat it up just fine. That last one was a joke but, you do need to use it in a well ventilated area because it really does put out the heat. Now for the CON's: There is only one setting and that is full blast all the time. This has a couple drawbacks like if your use small portable gas cylinders you have between 7-10 mins of run time before you exhaust a full tank. It also means you have no temp control from the tip. It's blasing full blast or its off. If you try to adjust it down off of full you will damage the tip itself due to the concentration of heat at and below the flame tip exit point. It only takes about 20 sec to go from normal to glowing white hot at the ends of the tip. I have used it with both Propane and Mapp GAS and both perform well with it. Just remember, if your using it with a handheld type cylinder, the cylinder will freeze up at the bottom and it will only last about 10 mins

Good but not great torch. It got super hot even with regular butane - big plus. It would not maintain a flame level, the regulation needed regular tweaking - first minus The biggest issue I had with the torch was that the flame would pivot down unexpectedly from the weight of the tool and that was dangerous and hard to manage. If the pivot were more stiff I’d be a fan of the tool. I consider my torch a bit unsafe as-is.

I have a couple of these and they are great. I was buying the very expensive bernzOmatic to my frustration. A guy that was helping me had one of these and it lites on the first strike. Much to my surprise. I usually only trust the expensive name brand stuff when it comes to Air Conditioning tools but this is a rare exception.

Worth every penny, Just as hot as an air acetylene torch. 1/4 the size and 1/10th the cost. Buy one you will be impressed!
