I just started "making" lures this past summer. I was whittling out of poplar and balsa. It was fun, but with Parkinson's Disease, well, I often cut myself. Then I was told about lure blanks. My favorite part was always painting the baits anyway. So I looked online and some of the blanks were as much as a lure you can buy! Free Fisher showed up on my Amazon search and I couldn't be any happier with what I received. The baits seem very well made, they take paint extremely easy and swim with a nice tight wobble.I have attached a couple photos of what I have done wth them. I am very new so those of you who do this alot, please don't laugh too hard.I highly recommend Free Fisher for all your lure blank needs!

This is the fourth time I have bought this lot of baits. All of my baits came in the package and eyes attached to a backing in a separate little bag. These baits are very good the have great action and hold up to a beating. I will continue to buy this item.

All but one of my blanks was in ready to paint condition. I had one that was pretty messed up I’m not sure how it made it into the package. I haven’t had a chance to fish these yet to see how true they run or how easily they can be tuned. I just ordered another 25 so we will see how the next batch looks.

These blanks have a wide action wobble. It casts & retrieves great & is easily tuned

These paint super with candy 2 o paint look awesome wish Free Fisher would come out with more lure blanks with holographic patterns in or on them

I am just starting into the hobby of painting lures. While mine came out great there were some quality control issues with the blanks. On more than half of them, the seems were crooked and if you look at the bait head on, they appear twisted. Not sure if that will affect how they run in the water as I haven’t gotten that far yet. Two had splits at the tail ring and 3 had a split on the bill where the seem is. I put dabs of epoxy to seal those up but didn’t expect to have to put that much energy is getting them ready to paint. I know these are small cranks but the rings are super tiny but the ring attachment are difficult to put split rings on once painted and cleared.

Really like the product except that when we received the baits the eyes are scattered everywhere and attached all over the baits. Might need to look into packaging process.

ABills all split! Order 2 bags, all were split, replaced, sent 2 more, 1 of the 2 were good. Out of 4 bags these were the worst I have ever bought. 3 out of 4 bags sent only 1 bag decent but not good quality, however decent enough I hope I can use the one bag.I recommend the seller pay more attention to the product sending out. I am searching for these same baits from a different seller.
