The Little Book of Safari Animal Sounds

After my niece opened this for Christmas last year, she was glued to it. Even after opening all her other gifts, it seemed she always came back to this book. I'm extremely happy she liked it.

I bought this for my grandkids to enjoy. We have photos of African animals in a bedroom so I thought this sound book would be a good addition

My 1 y/o grandson loves many of the sounds in this good book! I wish there’d been more familiar animals included. I’d trade the bubbling kassina for a giraffe, for example! I also would have preferred the more common elephant sounds to the growl-type chosen for the elephant here. The hippo may be our favorite…he’s got a hilarious deep laughing sound. Atlas & I both imitate the sound & laugh together. It’s definitely a fun book….& great exposure for his fast-developing brain.

I got this for my grandson's second birthday. He loves it! He spends a lot of time looking at the pictures and listening to the animal sounds.

My 2.5 y/o likes this book because he’s obsessed with lions. He gets bored with it pretty quickly though. Some of the sounds are a little scary (the baboon for instance), or not very clear, and the elephant should have been much more recognizable since it’s a child favorite. Not as good as the bird books, which we have already. I’d pass on this one.

We have two of the bird books in this series and love them, so we were very disappointed when this book turned out to have some sounds that didn't sound accurate. The elephant and the lion are especially bad. Alexa and Google both give much better sounds. I'm returning this book and don't recommend it.

Compré este libro buscando libros de animales para mi bebé, que tuviera sonidos y las imágenes fueran realistas y aisladas. En ese aspecto ha sido todo un acierto. Las imágenes de los animales además quedan resaltadas del fondo. En la otra cara hay un texto que habla sobre los sonidos que ese animal emite, dónde vive, cuál es la esperanza de vida, etc. Datos que si el libro sobrevive serán muy interesantes para cuando mi bebé crezca.Como punto extra positivo, me encanta que hayan incluido a una rana, por ejemplo, que se salga de lo común.Como punto negativo, la presencia de sonido ambiental y en concreto, el elefante se oye menos que el resto.En general, lo recomendaría, dado que no he encontrado otro libro que cumpla estos requisitos que menciono al inicio.
