One Wicklein Gold Elisen Burg Tin, 2 Asst Lebkuchen (Chocolate & Iced), Min. 25% Nuts

I am a huge fan of German Gingerbread and this version is outstanding. I spoke to the gentleman who imports these rare treats and learned that not all Lebkuchen are created equal. From the first bite to the last crumb, delicious!

Came dry and broken. Were really stale. Grew up in Germany so I know how they should taste. Its a treat we get every Christmas- the tin was pretty but the contents fell short.

Brought back wonderful memories.

Cookies are great, but the add shows two tins and a price of 23 or so dollars... and you look at the word description and it shows two 100 g .... but you get 4, FOUR cookies in one order... they say you are paying for the tin... I buy these cookies in tins in Germany and in the states and it should be about 12 or 13 dollars per tin... that is why I thought you would get two tins... as the ad stated... so I ordered 2, thinking 4 tins, and paid $57 for 8 cookies! Just word to wise!, look around, a great cookie, but better prices out there and this vendor just tells you tough, too bad when question!

These cookies are absolutely DELICIOUS! I tried the for the first time this year and I'm addicted! They are light moist and chewy. Not too sweet. Perfect with a nice cup of coffee or tea. I will buy again.
