What a joke!!! They make the jar look alot larger than actual size. The when you open it there's a small bag ,half the size of the container. $14? Insane

My husband loves this Hard candy I will be buying it again

The candy flavor is excellent. However, I was highly disappointed when they were not filled. I was on a quest to find an old fashioned, FILLED, hard candy to surprise my husband with. He had mentioned how much he loved them as a child. We regifted them. So, if a FILLED candy is what you are searching for.....this is not it.

I bought this knowing what some of the reviews say, that this is fake. I haven't been able to find this candy for a few years, when the store that used to carry it stopped having it. This is the real thing. It came in a usual cardboard canister, shrink wrapped, with a best by date on the lid. Inside is a plastic bag of candy. There is a mix of peppermint, spearmint, two kinds of berry, and several fruit wedges, all filled. The only difference from the original I used to get, was the fruit cubes are replaced by fruit wedges. I am concerned about the price, it seems to fluctuate quite a bit, and they always say they have just a few left. Don't know anything about that. I do think the price is a bit high, I used to get these canisters for $1 each. But it is the genuine article.

Excellent candies, with great flavor and fillings

I'm 73. I still remember getting candy in my Christmas stocking, and thorougly loving ever piece. I have long looked for the real thing, but modern imitators obviously have no clue. When I received this, first thing I opened it and popped one in my mouth. I knew immediately I had found the real thing once again! I've already ordered more, because these filled hard candies are exactly as I remember them 65+ years ago. Still delicious after all these years!
