The picture shows the old fashioned card but the word description is for “plane awesome”. Which one should I order if I want the old fashioned one?

I did not get this card. The one I purchased was a pop up volcano one.

Does the "I lava you" card play the song too when opened?

While I have never bought this particular card, I have bought numerous other LovePop cards. None have played any music or noise.
