Works as it should

A tragic yet beautiful story about friendship, loving others, and coping with dying. You will cry.
What a fantastically sad, yet joyfully moving film that challenges us to live life with gratitude for what you have, and also to be willing to love ourselves and others, and not bottle up. This film throws many gut punches at you, and you will be weeping by the end, but it is worth the watch.

amazing film just be prepared
The movie was amazing. But just make sure your dvd player can play dvds from different regions. Portable dvd players hooked up to a computer by HDMI also work (thats what I did). Other than that The shipping was pretty fast and the movie was great with some fun extra content. Also, the movie does have a dubbed option and also has subtitles. Enjoy!

I was scared to put it in just now from the post office and seeing reviews... To my shock it's working on my Xbox one region 1 so thank you I'm so happy and can't wait to enjoy this!!!

Very sad anime, but also very good. If you enjoy sad anime similar to Anohana it is a must watch.

Not for North America
I love the movie but, the description on their site is wrong it will not work in North America so my DVD can’t play it have to look for another playable copy.

A downbeat, but engrossing movie
I hesitate to use the word "depressing" to describe this movie, but it kinda is for the most part. That may not surprise you from the story outline of course, but it is definitely worth watching as it is a very absorbing drama and I was pretty satisfied with it by the end, so can't say fairer than that. Only real downsides I noted were a fairly forgettable soundtrack and pretty average quality animation... but these are minor nitpicks on the whole. Worth a watch.
