Kidde 10SCO Combination 10 Year Life Carbon Monoxide and Smoke Alarm Twin Pack

My old smoke detector failed on me. I researched the internet and found that this make was different from my old one, however it clipped onto the old bracket in the ceiling in the kitchen. It was relatively cheaper than other models, yet ideally priced and perfect.

Good combination smoke and CO alarms. Easy to fit with clear instructions.

No problem fitting and simple to use. Had a couple of false warnings after about a fortnight in situ but seems to have settled now(if it's still working! Ha). Not had a fire or carbon monoxide leak that I am aware of so can only assume its doing the job.

bought these to replace same brand which had gone faulty after over 10yrs. whilst these cosmetically look the same, they now use 2xAA batteries instead of a pp3 & the old base plate does not fit, despite having the same fixing centres, as the lugs are different. not a showstopper & pleased overall.

Does what it says and without crazy flashing lights that can keep you awake there not necessary. Also good price against similar products
