Yukon is a no brianer! Best for the $
What can be said about Yukon products? They are one of the best in the business. I can't even count how many rear ends that I have built with Yukon parts. The durability is excellent when they say it works for the vehicle they mean it. Compatibility is on point. Everything has the appearance of a high quality machine shop. The best most functional upgrade that you can do in any vehicle by far. Did I mention value for the money?

Great Diff for 04 Silverado Z71
Worked great and fit perfectly in my 04 Chevrolet Silverado Z71 that had a blown ring and pinion. The clutches have the perfect catch point, but I love that you can customize the aggressiveness of them as well. Great build quality and price point for a limited-slip diff by Yukon and very satisfied with the end result

Perfect addition
Perfect addition to the Dana44 in the CJ7. Put it through the paces in Utah and the added traction and confidence was apparent from the start.

Great product!
If you use a repair bearing on one of the axles when you go back together with it there’s not enough room to get the clip back on the axle, I had to take the axle back out and machine it a little bit to get some clearance. No fault of the product just a helpful tip.

Got both tires spinnin!
Installed in my 1963 c10. Factory 10 bolt rear. I’ve use Yukon products for years and they are very strong. Install was smooth and came with good direction/instruction. Also very clear of what oil to run with it. When installing your axles, it is very tight getting c-clips inside the carrier. It’s suppose to be. Take your time and have a helper push the wheel end of the axle toward the carrier if needed.

Good Product but different then stock chevy posi
Great posi, out of the box it looked great and had good looking parts. assembly went great. Gear pattern very close to stock carrier with stock shim thickness. Spider gears wear good but leave some to be desired in terms of pattern worn on them. This is a different posi compred to the stock chevy/GMC versions, clutches only used vs the original G80 with centrifugal weight system + clutches. The drive feel is a bit different but not too annoying. Get an extra set of clutches yukon (composite) or eaton (carbon fiber), youll need them within 6 months of light wheeling. Eaton set bites harder and last wayyy longer.

so far so good, still good update!
Updated at bottom.. I didn't just randomly decide to upgrade...this was more a question of what to replace existing yet failing parts with. My 2000 dodge 1500 4x4 was making noises I didn't like... we popped the rear pumpkin and discovered the issue after noticing HUGE driveline rotational play. My differential spiders were definitely on the way out fast...and apparently decided to wallow out the carrier at the same time. Ok I need to get the best value for money spent....would prefer easy to install and while I can accept a higher noise level I would rather not most times. Yet if I could up the off road performance a bit that would be nice. So their went the lockers... more expensive more noise.... The cost difference between a replacement carrier and spider assembly and a LSD wasn't that much. The cost of a lunchbox locker and carrier made that and the mini spool and carrier fall off the table as well as sound and on road issues. So I chose this... as my ring and pinion were just fine.... we set the lash at 0.0055" play and lubed up the rear end with 80-90 conventional as required by yukon and the LSD additive. Over an open differential it's a big step up. Over a failing open differential it's a huge step up. Now my DD/hunting/fishing rig is more capable and for roughly $60 more than replacing the entire dif with an open one I got added traction. Thanks yukon. Approx 1 week later Still happy with it.... it makes a big difference in offroad and on road handling. Yes it opens when not under load but if hard cornering with heavy throttle on a slippery surface (hard packed dirt road....sandy tarmac) expect both rear wheels to break loose and a drift or powerslide to start. Not a bad thing and definitely improves throttle steering but it does change the handling and you should be aware of it. I do realize I drive harder and more confidently than many people especially offroad... and that most folks are just happy to get there they don't need to have fun while getting there quickly....but I do.

Great product, would buy again
Bought this over a year ago for my B4000 with a 8.8 with yukons seperate kit containing seals and bearings. So far I've put around 40k km on the unit and have had no major issues, works greats in snow, mud and rainy conditions. I did use the friction modifier and replacing the fluid after a break in period. Only issue I've had since installing was the diff housing leaking when using the cork gasket provided in the seperate kit. Install wasn't to bad. Would recommend it to anyone searching or would purchase again if needed.
