Best Pen I Have Ever Used!
I'll admit it...I'm a pen snob. I love writing (both the craft of forming letters with a good pen and the art of expressing myself on paper). No doubt, that is why I enjoy writing product reviews. However, when I write, I want a good pen in hand. Sure, often I compose at the keyboard. However, when I have writer's block, I pick up a good pen like this Uni-ball Signo Um-151 Gel Ink Pen. It just seems to get my creative juices flowing. The first day, I noticed the tiniest hint of scratchiness with this pen. After using it for a short time, it seemed to go away. Either I broke the pen in, or I got used to it. Whatever, I adore this pen and all its features. I recently tried these Uni-ball Signo Um-151 Gel Ink Pens for the first time. I thought I had tried almost every micropoint pen on the market. Obviously not. These pens are absolutely fabulous: . 38 mm micropoint . metal tip . gel ink . no smudging or leaking . open Es, As, and Os no matter how small you write . instant drying ink . smooth writing/beautiful lines . comfort grip . round barrel . snap on cap . pocket clip . long lasting .very reasonable price ($1.50 a pen) This is a five star pen in my book. I'm going to have a hard time finding a pen that can beat this one at this price. Very highly recommend to other lovers of micropoint pens! Love it!

This is the only pen I will use
The uni-ball Signo Um-151 Gel Ink Pen in 0.38mm is a pen enthusiast's dream. If you crave precision in your writing, this pen is a game-changer. With its ultra-fine 0.38mm tip, your writing is consistently neat and tidy. It's perfect for those who love fine lines and detail-oriented work. The gel ink flows smoothly without smudging or skipping, making your writing experience effortless and elegant. Plus, it dries quickly to prevent any accidental smears. However, if you prefer thicker lines, this pen may not be your best choice. But for those who appreciate the art of fine writing, the uni-ball Signo Um-151 is a must-have.

These pens are A M A Z I N G
I honestly can't believe it has taken me this long to write a review. If you write small, prefer fine lines, are tired of ink bleeding through a page, or can't get on board with the G2 gel pens. I write really small but most pens bleed too much or the width of the ink is too big. I went on the hunt to find a good pen and after buying 10+ different pens I landed on the Uniball Sign UM-151 .38mm. I might sound like a commercial but I absolutely freakin love these pens. I buy boxes of them at a time and it is literally the only pen I ever write with. I have been using these pens for nearly 10 years and hope they never get discontinued. Buy these pens and you thank me later.

Pentastic !!!! This is the only pen I will use for years to come.
I hope you find this review helpful. I want to help you make an informed decision. My advice :: buy these pens! My reasons:: 1. The pens are very highly rated. I read about them on the popular pen blogs-> http://www.penaddict.com/blog/2008/1/11/review-uni-ball-signo-dx-038mm.html http://www.gourmetpens.com/2011/07/review-uni-ball-signo-dx-um-151-038-mm.html#.VH5bm-rd-kA 2. The cost per pen is low enough that if you lose them it won't be so painful. 3. They are pretty darn durable. I have beaten them up and they still work perfectly. 4. They feel a bit "scratchy" on the paper, which I have grown to love. 5. Ink dries quickly 6. Much easier to read my hand writing now !!! NOTE: it took me a few days to get used to these pens. They have a micro tip that I HATED AT FIRST. I used to write with 0.7mm Pilot G2 pens. So, these 0.38mm are super small in comparison. However, after a few days, I grew to LOVE these pens. It was an acquired taste for me but I will never go back now. These pens will really help people with terrible handwriting since you can write so small. The letters are easier to read. Please let me know if you like this review or what I can do to improve it.

Mid-tier Pen Worth the Price! People Will Notice This Pen! Do Not Lose This Pen!
A great pen for signatures and general writing where you need the writing to show up on photocopies and scans to online documents. Be aware that this ink flows faster than ball-point pens, so you'll run through a single pen in a couple weeks if you use it for writing journals or logs (You'll see it drain by the day or hour depending on use). The point is sharp and will tear or puncture paper without a hard supporting surface (cardboard and clipboards are ok). Be careful not to hurt yourself with the tip! That same sharp point can also come in handy for self-defense and pressing reset buttons, but beware that the tip may break if you do this (see way below). This pen is normally not available in local stores like Staples or Office Depot. I bought the .38 originally for writing logs, as wider tips made fitting numbers and letters into small blocks difficult. The grip is comfortable and the pen is surprisingly light and balanced when the cap is removed. I leave my cap on, as I am used to writing with weighted pens (I am also less likely to lose the cap). Be advised: Although these gel-pens are a vast improvement over Pilot G-series pens (as they will not explode or leak giant random globs on the paper) the plastic mechanism in the tip may break, causing the pen to sometimes not apply ink mid-stroke or not at all. I usually switch over to another pen in that case, as there are quite a few pens per pack. Consider buying at least 2 packs if you intend to use these pens as your primary writing instrument. Overall, it is worth paying $1.50 / pen for it's intended use. People take notice when they borrow this disposable pen. Be sure to get your pens back! They're hard to come by, good quality, and cost money!

I like pens that don't click... people abuse that feature
These pens are awesome for those who write small or have big brass ones and do math with a pen - they write smooth and the ink doesn't smudge, however, every now and then they have trouble writing on the color printouts from the company laser printer. I will buy another box as soon as I go though these, and another box after that, and another box after that, and another box after that, and another box after that, and another box after that, and another box after that, and another box after that, and another box after that, and another box after that, and another box after that, and another box after that, and another box after that, and another box after that, and another box after that, and another box after that, and another box after that, and another box after that, and another box after that, and another box after that, and another box after that, and another box after that, and another box after that, and another box after that, and another box after that, and another box after that... you get the idea

Smooth, comfortable and reliable. The perfect pen!
I'm currently studying Japanese independently. In order to write practice drill sentences, you need a quality pen in which the ink doesn't bleed, is bold in color, and allows for smoothly flowing strokes. This pen does all of this and looks great doing it, too!!! I previously purchased a thinner gauge ink pen set because I desired a super thin line to increase the legibility of the complex Kanji characters. The lines were thin, but the ink was NOT bold and even dried up in some the pens. Also the tip would clog consistently which led to torn papers and a few broken pens out of frustration. I've learned that sometimes thinner isn't always better. These pens are absolutely marvelous. I remember purchasing a U.S. Signo series pen years ago. I couldn't stop raving about how great that pen was. They truly deserve their positive reputation. I highly recommend these for anyone writing in any language and I will be buying these again!

Excellent quality for the price!
I've been using Uni-Ball One Gel 0.38 pens for some time as well as Pilot Juice Gel 0.38 pens. But as they're pricey, I decided to try the Uni-ball Signo DX. I like the flow of the Uni-ball Signo DX way more! The flow isn't constant with the Uni-Ball One Gel or the Pilot Juice Gel 0.38, whereas the flow is more constant with the Uni-ball Signo DX. The black pigment is the same among the three pens. Overall, for the price, the Uni-ball Signo DX offers excellent quality!

The Best Pens!
They write clearly, perfectly thin lines, the ink is not super smudgeable! I write small and I drag my hand on the page when I write and I only use these pens because the ink flow is consistent and I do not get ink all over my page or on my hand.
