Quality
I belong to a gym but I lift at home when I'm too lazy to leave the house. I have another barbell but I added this second one for supersets.I'm not really an expert in this kind of thing but I'll tell you this, compared to the other barbell I have, this one is great. It is as good as the ones at the gym I belong to. I don't know if that helps, but that's the only comparison I can give. What I don't like about the other bar I have is that it's sometimes difficult to slide plates on and off. THIS bar does not have that problem.I have squatted 225 pounds with this barbell and deadlifted 260. There is no bowing with at this weight. I don't plan on getting too much heavier, so it's good for my usage. I also use the bar for cleans and snatches. The spin is good. If I could afford it, I'd get rid of the other bar and buy a second one of these.

Whip it real good
I like the grip, I like the whip, when I dip, you dip, we dip. Love this bar. Plus purple is my fav color right now 😁👍 I use it for CrossFit and general lifting purposes. I grabbed the CAP 15lb bumber plates to go with and some purple collars - dope.

Couldn't be Happier!
We got this shortly before quarantine started. My daughter and I do olympic lifting and needed to be able to keep lifting. Our gym lent us weights and we used this bar. I had only used Rogue bars up until now and was a little concerned I wouldn't love it, but I liked the look of it and the price was super reasonable. I don't have any complaints!! I. Love. This. Bar. It's oh so pretty (I know that doesn't count for anything really.) It has smooth spin, it cleans easily, I'm planning to order another down the road. It's grippy but not like a cheese grater on your hands. The only thing I noticed is the metal clips we were using at first did seem to pull some of the coating off the bar where it rubbed. It's not super noticeable. It got used for about 12 hours a week for almost two months and we have no complaints!

Looks Nice but broke quickly
UPDATE: I was able to get in touch with Archon and they sent a new bar. The bar is fantastic now! I’m able to do cleans, snatches, squats, etc and all is good with the bar. I also love the look of the black.Seemed like a nice barbell but within a couple of weeks one side has come apart. I haven’t dropped it and because of the shortage of plates, it’s had max 65# of plates on it. Very disappointed.

AMAZING customer service
I just got off the phone with Don at ARCHON. I had a similar issue as another reviewer where one of the sleeves came un-attached from the barbell. Don, the owner of the company, informed me that there had been a manufacturing issue identified in a small number of barbells. The manufacturer ARCHON uses makes barbells for another company as well and the two designs were intermixed causing the error. Don sent me instructions on how to fix my current barbell and advised to only use it for squats and bench. He is also sending a brand new barbell with no requirement to send the old one back. I am very happy with my experience, and very happy to continue to use my ARCHON bar!

Best Olympic Bar I've Ever Used
The Archon Olympic Barbell has a wonderful grip. It's sturdy, of good quality and has the same feel of the the Olympic Barbells in gyms. I highly recommend this Olympic weight Barbell for your home gym.

Quality quickly fades
I really liked this bar when I first ordered it however the quality went down from there. Because of Covid, my bar has been kept inside with minimal weight (45 lb each side) and yet the sleeves are coming off.I have tried calling Archon but, the message says I am calling during a holiday or after hours (didn’t know Monday at 2 pm was considered a holiday?); and, I have tried sending emails but the notification window says the message can not be sent.Disappointed overall
