Great taste ,perfect on chicken wings with crunchy onions sprinkled on top.

Got told this would be like the weatherspoon jack Daniels glaze, it’s not sadly but it is probably some of the best bbq sauce I’ve ever had.

I’ve been looking for something Smokey and sweet to jazz up boring vegan meat substitutes and had been buying liquid smoke in a small bottle. It was ok but not amazing. THIS IS! Medium sliced up some home made seitan and put in a shallow dish. Brushed on this sauce on both sides liberally so really saturated and left to marinate overnight. Took out of the fridge, dusted both sides of each slice with a mix of Chinese five spice, smoked paprika chilli flakes and crushed pink peppercorns. Shallow fried for around 12 minutes and voila! Melt in the mouth Sweet and Sticky, Smokey, fragrant slices of absolute gorgeousness. We had ours in mini pitta pockets with salad and hoisin sauce and there wasn’t a crumb left.....in fact I caught the other half mopping the frying pan with a slice of bread!!! BUY THIS? You won’t regret it.
