I love love love this oil. My postpartum Ayurvedic doula used this for massage and the scent is so warm and comforting. I think it smells faintly of brown sugar and butter and earthiness . If you’re into artificial scents maybe it hits you different but our family doesn’t use any artificial fragrance and uses essential oils sparingly. Made my skin feel very hydrated and my hair super healthy and shiny.

I’m so sorry to leave a negative review without commenting on its effectiveness. I have not used it much (bc of the smell) and it’s my first time using ayurveda oil so don’t have much to say about it, but I want to warn other customers that this oil smells horrible. I could not stand the strong smell and had to shower immediately…:(

Works good

I know the smell is strong but this medicinal oil for healing. Not artificial stuff used n western medicine. The properties in it’s entirety should be appreciate and acknowledged. This is Ayurveda. If you don’t like it… stick to Motrin.

My acupuncturists recommended this for muscle and joint pain. It didn't relieve the pain and there is a very strong odor coming from the oil. It took multiple showers and three days to get rid of the awful scent.
