I also had a problem with the leaking of the bottle as mentioned by a previous buyer.Having contacted Napiers they couldn’t have been more helpful- a replacement was immediately dispatched along with some lovely samples of their other products as an apology for the inconvenience. I will definitely be ordering from them directly in future! 10 out of 10 for customer service!More importantly the elderberry elixir is delicious- just like granny used to make- fingers crossed it’ll give my immune system the boost I’m hoping for.

Fizz when opened and taste like vinegar and fizz in mouth? I’m pretty sure it’s not supposed to taste like this

Not sure if its a packaging issue or a storage issue, but I could not get the cap to open. Had to try various ways and when I finally managed to open it, I could see that the sugar had accumulated around the top of the cap effectively sealing it. Taste is fine and my cough did clear but due to trouble in getting it to open, I had already started another brand. So not sure which was more effective.

It's a ok elderberry syrup. Seems nice quality, my daughter don't like the flavour but she take it anyway

Quality product, however to ensure the contents are ok better to buy direct from Napiers. Shook bottle before opening and it fizzed up and out. Amazon had not stored this correctly at right temperature so sugar in it had fermented. Napiers were kind enough to send replacement FOC so won't be buying this via Amazon again.

Taken with a little water may seed a bit bitter, but with juice its great. Lovely natural product, easy to use
