Do all 6 of the hdmi inputs support 8k upsacling? specs appear to say they do, but magazine review i read said only the dedicated 8k port does

According to the owner's manual, there is only one 8K "input", but, video from any input can be "upscaled" to 8K. In other words, if you have a source that can output 8K video, connect it to that input and the video from that input will be displayed in 8K, when provided, without the need to upscale it. When the video (from that input or any other input) is not in 8K, it can be upscaled to 8K. If you have more than one source capable of displaying an 8K video, you can only connect of one them to the 8K input and the other sources will have to be connected to the 4K HDMI inputs. In that case, those 8K sources will output their videos in 4K, even when their videos are in 8K. Although the videos will still be upscaled back to 8K, in such extreme cases the resulting video will be less than ideal.

Could the rear surround speakers be wireless while the rest are wired, or do they have to be wired also?

yes and no, you can use wireless that has a transmitter that plugs into speaker outputs but not without transmitter that plugs in to receiver

Do i need banana plugs for this?
