I got this as a replacement for an older heat gun and quite happy with it. Nice that it has a two step heat range which is good when you want to try less heat to protect things and then decide you need more heat or don't have the electric capacity to run full power like using an inverter. The attachments are kind of cheap and don't really stay on well but do work good enough when you need something like that. I've only used the deflector one for heat shrink tubing and it worked well. Good purchase would buy again.

It heats up quickly and isn't overly loud which is great. It works amazing to get rid of the old popcorn ceilings/walls in my home (which was my purpose for buying it) Only bad thing I can say is it being all plastic the handle gets too hot to touch after about 10 minutes of run time.
