This simply a brilliant collection of hardware in an unsuitable container.Think 5-star food served in a paper bag.Yes the parts are brilliant for the price.However holding it together is a totally different thing.The Thermals are all over the shop and running the on-board rtx card with the cpu at the same time is a NIGHTMARE - Sponsored by the loss of your hearing.The fans ramp up to max very regularly, due to the huge heat footprint from the processor and graphics not being effectively dissipated.If you dont mind the jetengine taking off under your palms. the performance is on par (plus or minus 5%) with much more well known brands like MSI, but reduced pricing.Sound and thermals aside, the keyboard has nice key switches but the one i received has a rotating "enter" key, that turns a bit when you press it, and starts to interfere with its nearest key.The build quality for the screen and frame are on-par with an MSI G65, it works, the question is for how long.The IO is very well thought out actually, and has usb-c & hdmi placements for VR headsets at the back beside the power port.So in summary, it's a HOT German/Chinese off-brand of lenovo, with little to no support from lenovo & Medion.but if you want to use it for VR, with a headset and HEADPHONES, you may not notice the volume.This could be modded with liquid metal, and refreshed every 6-months with a fresh application, to improve the thermal throttling. But will void any of the imagined warranty this device might have.TLDR: avoid, it will burn a hole in your pocket and table, while giving you tinnitus
