Fun, Interactive, and Great for Kids Who Love Trucks
This garbage truck toy has been a great purchase. The sound quality is surprisingly good for a toy. The lights and sounds are clear and realistic without being too loud or distorted, which makes it fun but not overwhelming. Ease of use is excellent. The buttons are simple to press, the moving parts operate smoothly, and it is easy for kids to handle on their own. The included trash cans add extra interaction and make pretend play even more engaging. In terms of value for money, this set delivers. You get the truck, lights and sounds, plus multiple accessories, all at a reasonable price. It feels sturdy enough for regular play and holds up well. Overall, this is a fun, interactive toy that combines good sound quality, simple operation, and solid value. Definitely a great choice for kids who love of garbage trucks.

My son loves his
This garbage truck was a little harder to put together than we thought. My husband and teenage daughter did most of the work and then my 4 year old boy helped in the end. The mechanism that actually lifts the trash can into the truck did not last but a few weeks, but my son is hard on things, so I was not surprised. the truck overall is great for the money spent. Just keep in mind, that the younger and less mature the child, the more apt they are to damaging certain areas of this truck. My son still plays with his and it was purchased several months ago. The trash cans hold up well and he also loves those.

Long lasting play value, but be ready to build, and bring your superglue
As with any kids toy, there's the likelihood it won't survive the ride. I picked up this set because my son was going through a garbage truck obsession a few months ago. Almost three months later, it's still a go-to play toy, but it's lost the main novelty of connecting the trash cans and lifting them up due to the lever busting shortly after the first couple of uses. I glued the lever pieces back on several times, but it's beyond the point of repair for that mechanism now. A few other things to keep in mind: -- Be ready to spend about 20 minutes or so putting this together once you open it. Luckily, most pieces snap together, or can be screwed together using the included screw (which is small and plastic, and makes it nice to have your little one help you assemble). -- It could just be mine, but the included batteries didn't seem to last very long. So far, we've gotten by just switching them around, but it's not the most convenience of task when you have to unscrew a few pieces to get back to the battery cover. Despite the few flaws, the truck itself still works great as a representation of a garbage truck, and the cardboard pieces that come with the garbage cans have helped to teach our little one about which items go in which receptacle.

Great Toy Truck but Questionable Durability
My 15-month old grandson loves the garbage truck (he loves everything about trash trucks, including watching the trash pick up every Wednesday morning), despite the fact that the plastic arm that lifted the trash cans into the top of the truck broke within a week. Thankfully, he's too young to understand what happened and continues to creatively improvise. However, as his grandma and the purchaser, I'm disappointed at the lack of durability of that particular part (I noticed other reviews commented on the same issue - I should have taken heed). Another disappointment was that the battery life for the truck sounds didn't last long. All things considered, I should have looked at other garbage truck options.

Really cool diy garbage truck!
I purchased this for my nephew that absolutely loves garbage trucks! Needless to say this was a big hit with him! The Garbage truck seems to be of great quality and is extremely easy to put together! It makes sounds and lights up and the mechanism moves manually to raise the recylcle bins! Also included are cutouts to help teach the kids how to recycle and where different items go! I must add the size is perfect for him as well! Not too big and not to small! I would definitely recommend this for any kid who is a garbage truck fanatic!

Not the best quality, but fun to play with.

Build quality is poor compared to the price. Also not smoothly moving forward and backward.
